Ross Andru´s Spider - Man Sunday - Part 2

Even with five ( !!! ) spin - off posts the main Ross Andru SPIDER - MAN tribute post is still too long so I have decided to split it into two posts.

The upside to that is that I get to post more incredible art by Ross Andru that I could not fit into the first post. And don´t worry, I still have enough material for at least two more Ross Andru AMAZING SPIDER - MAN posts.

As promised here is the second part of the birthdays I missed since my last post and you can find part one through the links at the top of this post.

We´re taking a page out of Kylie Minogue´s songbook and step back in time to May the 26th, the 70th birthday of exploitation legend Pam Grier.

Which I put into another spin - off post together with Latoya Jackson - whose birthday was on May the 29th ( and her sister Janet Jackson ). The post also features forgotten black super heroine Monica Rambeau a.k.a. the REAL female Captain Marvel and forgotten black super hero SPAWN.

I´m skipping May the 30th - for real this time - since I apparently have not written a post on that date yet and I do not want to go back and check which anniversaries fall on that day since this post is long enough as it is and I want to finish it some day. This brings us right to the birthdays from May the 31st which include underground comix creator Gilbert Shelton, Brooke Shields and Lea Thompson whom you can find in this new spin - off post as well as cult siren Phoebe Cates, romanian Busenwunder Oana Andoni and forgotten comic movies Brenda Starr and Howard the Duck.

Since I have already covered the celebrity birthdays from June the 1st in this post and from June the 2nd and 3rd in this post and there is nothing new to add we fast forward to June the 4th and another milestone of independent comics as Wendy Pini celebrated her 68th anniversary.

Today we are really going through my old list of reading material - Harlan Ellison who wrote some of the best issues of Avengers and Hulk as well as Vic & Blood with Richard Corben, Gilbert Shelton whose Wonder Warthog and Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers was in U - Comix and now Elfquest ( or Adventures in the Elf World as they called it here in Germany ) - although I am currently reading Elfquest - The Final Quest. I thought about closing the gaps in my Elquest collection but they released the avalanche of mini series and one shots that followed the original series in such a confusing way here that I am not sure which issues I do have and which I don´t.

I have to make a list some day but for that I would have to go through all of my comic collection. Just last month I moved my original issues by Bastei Verlag ( which was the first publisher who did a german version ) and the later albums by Carlsen and they are a bit weathered but I can´t bring myself to replace them with the new collections since those are only in black and white. Which may be nearer to the original but I am just too accustomed to the color versions so it would be a step back. Maybe some day it will be collected again but for the moment I am spending my comic book dime elsewhere. Anyway, I have written in various posts about how I first discovered Elfquest but for those who need their fix just click here .

Once again we skip the anniversaries for June the 5th while we already covered some of the celebrity birthdays for June the 6th in this post .

We are still stuck in the 80s as we continue to June the 7th when Larry Hama turned 70 who wrote many comics but is best known for basically building the comic world of G. I. Joe from the ground up. And while I was an avid follower of Elfquest I have to confess that I never got much into G. I. Joe - the toys or the cartoon show - and the only reason I did a post on the comics at all is that Mike Zeck did some covers who has been one of my favorite artists ever since I got my grubby paws on a spanish issue of The Hands of Shang - Chi, Master of Kung Fu. Sacrilege, blasphemy, I know.

Another throwback to gun toting comics from the 80s on the 7th of June was Karl Urban´s 47th birthday since he played the main lead in Dredd which is probably the best Judge Dredd movie out there. Not only does it capture the spirit and feel of the Judge Dredd comics co star Olivia Thirlby does a terrific job portraying everybody´s favorite leather clad blonde DD bombshell with legs up to her chin, the seductive Psi Judge Anderson.

The only negative thing I can say about the movie is that Olivia´s nude sex scene was way too short and filmed too much out of focus. What good are all the high definition cameras, blue rays and giant plasma screens with perfect picture resolution if the picture is all blurry ? This is the worst misuse of digital technology since Disney shrank Lindsay Lohan´s booming teenage boobs in Herbie Fully Loaded. What a waste of time, money and resources not to mention an incredibly horny sexbomb like Olivia Thirlby.

I don´t understand why they didn´t show the scene right and why it was not longer because in my opinion the movie could have only benefit from it. I mean we already got the adult rating and it´s not like we would have done anything different with blow up sex doll Judge Anderson in that situation than what the perverted perp really wanted to do with her.

We are coming to more classic comics with the anniversary of C. C. Beck, the creator of the original Captain Marvel from Fawcett Comics. I already did a tribute post for him but due to the recent SHAZAM ! movie I made a new spin - off post where I not only get to wax a bit more philosophical about it we also cover the birthdays for the 9th of June which include George Perez - who drew another DC character with ties to the gods, WONDER WOMAN - Jurij Brezan, the sorbian author of KRABAT and hasian megasexbomb Akira Lane ( plus hasian sexbombs Jeannie Mai, Yaya Han, more stuff about my new comic book VERSAUTE BETTGESCHICHTEN which includes new sample pages and the classic anime Lupin The Third ) in it.

Again, I have nothing to add to the birthdays for June the 10th in this post but speaking of spin - off posts about DC Comics characters since June the 11th is not only the birthday of Brian Michael Bendis who has taken over ACTION COMICS and SUPERMAN but also of cinema cult siren Adrienne Barbeau who was in the first SWAMP THING movie I did another separate post for them . Which also includes Len Wein - who wrote the original SWAMP THING series and whose anniversary was on June the 12th - überbusty cult sirens Kat Dennings, Jodie Sweetin, Debbe Dunning as well as the usual assortment of hot BAYWATCH babes and bikini contests.

Hang in there, we have only two more days to go. First up we have comic master Jordi Bernet who turned 75 on June the 14th. I have written about the series he worked on like JONAH HEX or TORPEDO in various posts and last year I wrote two posts : part one which contains the riskier artwork and part two which has all the stuff I would label under boys adventure.

As I have mentioned I am working on the third issue of my new comic book and while I am not saying that I am anywhere near the skill level of Jordi Bernet he is one of the artists I go to when I´m stuck on a panel.

Continuing with the comic related birthdays on June 15th Brent Anderson turned 64 best known for his work on Marvel´s Strikeforce : Morituri and the original graphic novel X - Men : God Loves, Man Kills ( which was the template for the second X - Men movie ), Eclipse Comics Somerset Holmes and the long running Astro City. The last series being the only one where I did a special post for Brent Anderson but you can find more about Kurt Busiek´s brilliant series under the Astro City tag. Until last year I hadn´t read any issues of Strikeforce : Morituri but now that I not only have read the first three trades - the first containing all issues by Brent Anderson while the rest of the series was drawn by none other than Mark Bagley - but also have enough material for a good post I don´t have the time to write it. I also still hope to cover X - Men : God Loves, Man Kills one of these days and hopefully I will have enough decent material for a proper post then. Anyway, is it just me or did Marvel put out the best graphic novels at that time ? It could be that it was because they did stories they did nowhere else and they also put their top creators on top projects.

Comicbook legend Neal Adams celebrated his 78th birthday and so far I did two posts on him : one about his work at DC Comics and one about his work at Marvel Comics which I managed to resurrect after it was deleted.

I am a bit behind on his work because he put out a limited series about Superman - or rather Supermen since there seem to be more than one going around - which I still haven´t read and now that I have started to read Brian Michael Bendis new SUPERMAN series I am curious how Neal Adams´ take on the Man of Steel holds up against that. By the way, I have already read the first two german issues ( which contain the first four US issues ) and I don´t think I will continue reading the german translations.

It might be nitpicking but as anybody who has followed this blog for any length of time knows I am very peculiar when it comes to the translation and while the one in the PANINI issues is serviceable they DO stray from the original enough to convey a certain mood that is different than the one in the original US version. In some cases the german version is even outright different making a statement contrary to the original text. In any case, whether I condemn or praise Brian Michael Bendis new SUPERMAN it will be solely on the merit of the original words and not some translation.

Apropos making a mockery of the Man of Steel, Herbert Feuerstein turned 82 who was - amongst other things - chief editor of the german version of MAD which is where I got the plot for the classic Superman movies from.

As I did with most movies. Back then I could not always afford to see a movie in the theater and because this was long before the invention of video cassettes a cheap alternative was buying an issue of MAD. So in a lot of cases I read the MAD parody of a movie before I saw the actual film and to this day there are some films where I get both versions mixed up.

Anyway, in honor of the outstanding achievements of Herbert Feuerstein in german culture I wrote a special MAD spotlight post in 2016 . Speaking about german comics Bernd Frenz on EUROPECOMICS has just published The History Of German Comics in two parts for those interested readers.

Ever since I first wrote about Enki Bracaj I have been getting requests for more videos with her since those are not that easy to find on YouTube and I have run out of new ones to post. For lack of new videos I have included the links for the last ones I posted in all the posts where I mentioned her.

As for news about everyone´s favorite news girl aside from an interview where she went on record that her breast size is 34DD and all natural ( sadly I can´t link to the interview because the website is NSFW ) there is nothing new to report. Here are the videos with Enki in all her glory :

7:47 min of Enki letting it all hang out / 7:14 min of Enki´s overdeveloped boobs trying to bust free / 6:19 of Enki´s huge rack almost exposing her nipple / 6:05 min of Enki fronting / 6:00 min of Enki letting it swing / 5:56 min of Enki letting it all hang loose / 5:40 of Enki and her heavenly hangers almost lying on the table / 5:13 min of Enki´s massive milkshakes looking hot / 5:03 min of Enki´s right nipple peeking out now and then / 4:55 min of blow up sex doll Enki pushing her big boobs together / 4:53 min of Enki teasing a nippleslip with her twin torpedoes / 4:47 min of Enki trying to keep the twins down / 4:18 min of Enki trying to cover up her big melons / 4:12 min of Enki delivering the goods / 3:38 of Enki rocking the cleavage ( slight nippleslip ) / 3:46 min of Busenwunder Enki getting jiggly with it

Well, as it so happens I have found some new videos - at least I hope they are new ones but even if I have posted them before it´s better to post some of Enki´s videos twice than to miss some - and since they disappear very quickly from YouTube I am going to post them in batches of five. Now I know that not a lot of readers will go to the trouble of checking out all my old posts to see the other Enki Bracaj videos they have missed so I am going to include the videos from this post in the links above the next time I post some videos of her so that in the end we will have a lot of her videos. Here is Today´s selection of the world´s best braless newscaster :

Speaking of women with enormous talents, usually when I post a cosplay video it´s about Yaya Han so I thought to switch it up a little. Here is the mega stacked Angie Griffin one of the few who can go up against Yaya´s 40D oppai which she trumps ( no pun intended ) with her 41E melons.

In the first part of this we already have a cartoon video with Spider - Man so not to repeat myself here is a sexy and very funny animated 3D short.

What always baffles me is how many readers are completely oblivious to the horror elements in such super hero universes like Batman or Spider - Man. Although it might have something to do with the fact that someone who has read horror comics for decades sees the connections right away.

As usual I was wrecking my brains for hours about which music video I should include when the answer should have been a no - brainer. Duh.

Since I don´t think I have mentioned Yvonne Craig´s anniversary on May the 16th here is Mars Needs Women which I think more people have heard of than actually seen. And don´t worry, the preview picture is raunchier than the movie. Sadly Yvonne Craig doesn´t wear anything as sexy as her Batgirl costume but there is a striptease by a talent girl. I think her name is Bubbles Cash which is a real stripper name if I have ever heard one.
