Just the other day I was going through my Black Cat art in order to see if I had enough material for a quick spotlight post on her for SPIDER - MAN MONTH, you know, just a short post in - between posts, when it dawned on me that Valentine's Day was just around the corner and that I might do a special post for that. Now I could have gone with the obvious Black Cat post and that would have been fine but my regular followers know I like to go the extra mile for my oyeescuchyas so instead I decided to go with the Silver Sable post that I promised my avid readers years ago.
Now one of the reasons why it took me so long to make this special post is that at first I was collecting any art with Silver Sable by any comicbook artist but since she is one of the most underused female characters in the entire Spiderverse there was not that many to begin with. Then I had the bright idea to see if I could find some art from Silver Sable's ongoing series but that also was not very easy because you will not find any art by the classic Marvel Comics artists since the best known names on this list are Wade Von Grawbadger, Steven Butler and a very young Doug Mahnke at the beginning of his career. In any case over the last three years I have managed to find enough material for at least two full blown posts so you are in luck because we definitely have a second part to this.
In this post we have all the original interior art while in our next post we will have more original cover art as well as some pages for the LIL SILVIE comic that appeared within the pages of the regular SILVER SABLE which was a spoof of the comic with an art style that mimicked the style of BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES which everybody was doing at that time.
