Franz Sanchez is kind of a weird Bond villain name in my opinion. You got a german first name - because we all know germans make the best villains - and then a little bit of spanish or mexican with the last name. As if the writers wanted to check all the people America doesn´t trust. Almost like Donald Trump´s personal nightmare. Licence To Kill was Timothy Dalton´s second and final James Bond movie and I feel it is a bit underappreciated.
It has one of the best stories of all the Bond movies and you get to see a James Bond who doesn´t play around. Timothy Dalton plays one heck of an avenging angel, Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto do more than just provide eye candy and with such heavyweights like Robert Davi ( who is almost wasted as a mere Bond villain ) and Benicio Del Toro rounding up the cast it´s great entertainment. They even had to cut various scenes to get a 15 release rating which alone should show you how hardcore this film is.
Robert has been in a plethora of movies and tv series from The Fall Guy to The Incredible Hulk to The Goonies, Raw Deal, Action Jackson, Die Hard and Predator 2. There also was a movie - I don´t remember the title - where he basically played the guy from Renegade : he was an ex - cop who was always unshaven and wore sunglasses and a long trenchcoat. He also had a motorbike but unlike Lorenzo Lamas he made the guy cool. I guess the only reason to watch Renegade was Lorenzo´s wife Kathleen Kinmont who could have made a fortune as a stripper with a hardbody like that .
Speaking of stripper hardbodies, Robert Davi was also on Showgirls with Elizabeth Berkley where he played the sleazy owner of the Cheetah club.
Besides her part of Nomi Malone on Showgirls Elizabeth Berkley is also famous as Jessie Spano on Saved By The Bell and she was the student body every red blooded male wanted to tap. Sadly I didn´t watch many episodes of the show even if both she and her co - star Tiffany Amber Thiessen developed into supersexy bombshells. I remember my younger brother always watched it - they did marathons on Saturday mornings during the summer vacations in Spain - but I think I was always too busy with important stuff like reading comics or drawing superheroes or such.
I started watching Beverly Hills 90210 on the basis of Tori´s constantly growing boobs which was a product of her Dad´s financed surgery and blow up sex doll Tiffani Amber Theissen´s exploding chest which was a product of nature. The buxom brunette of your wet pervy dreams has been scorching up the tv screens worldwide with her curvaceous body and her überdeveloped 37DD Beverly Hills and it helped a lot that Tiffani was often in bikinis or leather hooker outfits much to the delight of horny prepubescent boys and the rest of the male population on the planet.
There was a special episode that got my attention in which Tori Spelling was dancing in a leather hooker outfit while shooting a rock music video.

I never was a big Tori Spelling fan but in that scene she really squeezed her big breasts into a tight leather top and just shoved them right in your face. Now that´s what I call entertainment !
What I find a bit strange is how did such a scene get approved when her father was producing this ? Should I be concerned that Daddy dearest put it in the script or does this say more about his employees ? Maybe some disgruntled writers just decided to put his boss´ daughter into a hooker outfit and let her dance for him as payback for sleeping with his wife.
" Okay, Tori, do you think you can move more like a prostitute ? And we need to make the outfit sluttier. This is supposed to be a rock video. "
Those directors got it made, they just go " Okay guys, in the next four episodes Tiffani dresses up as a prostitute. And she has to do at least one striptease and two nude sex scenes in each episode. Which is really necessary for her character. Oh yeah, and send her to my trailer for .... extreme rehearsal. We have to go over the scene ... orally. " Those horny perverts are to thank for that Tiffany was so often in bikinis on that show.
Speaking about hookers, besides appearing on Beverly Hills 90210 Tiffani also was on Saved by the Bell with Elizabeth Berkley who revealed her real stripper nature in Showgirls. The movie was called a flop when it first came out but in the meantime it has become a cult classic mainly based on Elizabeth´s stripper moves which left me no other chance than cast her as one of my alternate choices for the Nympho Supergirl from Earth XXX in my second alternatives post for casting the Justice League movie .
She would get a different origin in which her rocket was bombarded by the radiation of pink kryptonite which turns all female kryptonians into super horny blow up sex dolls. Because of the long exposure to the pink kryptonite the effects would be permanent ( instead of only temporary like usual ) and Nympho Supergirl would have different powers like sex strength, peep vision, instant erection vision, perv hearing, orgasmic flight, ovaric speed, tantra healing, kama sutra flexibility, olympic stamina, multiple position memory, fellatio breath and deepthroat breath. Writing these posts can be really exhausting and sometimes I forget the important details. The part about my casting of Elizabeth Berkley as the alternate Nympho Supergirl from Earth XXX appears on a lot of my posts but I just realized that I always forget to mention Lindsay Lohan. I cast her as the regular Supergirl and she even got her very own JLA CASTING post which not many cult sirens have. Of course since I would take her from her best time when her boobs were so out of control that Disney had to shrink them down digitally in Herbie Fully Loaded. At least in the close ups which makes for a weird watching experience because her breasts are smaller the closer she gets. Markie Post played bail bonds contractor Terri Michaels ( who replaced previous bail bonds contractor Samantha Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug ) beginning with Season 2 and at the beginning she played a minor role.
One of the producers must have realized what a waste it is to have somebody like Markie on the cast without letting her " show off what her Mama gave her " like they say Today and the rest is 80s tv history. Markie Post got more involved in the stories where she stole the scene from Heather Thomas as soon as she donned a bikini ( mainly in Season 3 ).
80s Power Girl Markie Post is probably the best known cult siren on the blog because not only have I done many re - posts of her original post .
I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .
While I try to make this blog for as many people as possible there are some parts that are only for a small part of my audience. Like my amazon bargain bin tips which are only of interest for my german readers and which very often expire very quickly - sometimes even before I have finished with writing the post. Nevertheless with the high prices we pay for comicbooks nowadays I like to include them as often as possible. Because why pay more than you have to ? Anyway, Today´s recommendation is for an even smaller part of the audience because it´s not for all of my german readers.

No, Today´s recommendation is for those readers that live in the vicinity of Ludwigsburg. It may be available in other cities but so far I have only seen them there. Anyway, I don´t write very often about audio dramas but longtime readers may remember my posts about the german horror novel series JOHN SINCLAIR. It´s one of Germany´s longest running novel series and one I have read for most of my school years. Well, I have also mentioned the excellent JOHN SINCLAIR audio dramas in some of these posts. It´s not that often I get to write about audio dramas so I wanted to use the opportunity to write about something new in the JOHN SINCLAIR universe : SINCLAIR ACADEMY. At least I think it is new, As usual I might be late to the party and everybody might know about these except for me.
It´s a series of .... well, not really audio dramas. In the description it says reading with sound effects and music because it is only one guy reading everything and doing the voices and in an audio drama you have various persons reading. Anyway, while these are not real audio dramas it is quite entertaining. So what is SINCLAIR ACADEMY ? First of all, it´s not written by Jason Dark so if you are a hardcore fan of Jason Dark you might skip this. The stories are about a new task force of four young trainees under the tutelage of John Sinclair and Scotland Yard who are the next crime fighters specifically selected to battle devils, demons and the forces of the underworld. The stories are really entertaining and each story is about two and a half hours long. Now the reason why I am writing about this at all is that you can find a lot of them in one Euro shops around Ludwigsburg at the moment. So far I have bought six of them and while they are not as good as the proper JOHN SINCLAIR audio dramas you really can´t complain for the price of 1 Euro per double CD. So if you live in Ludwigsburg and see some of them in a 1 Euro shop you might want to give them a try.
Although the SINCLAIR ACADEMY video is kind of an audio one I wanted to include a music video and after going through a lot of my bookmarks I settled for Alex Gaudino´s Destination Calabria featuring Crystal Waters.
Even though we already have the movie category covered I wanted to include the trailer for one of these comicbook adaptions you never hear about. At least I never heard of The Adventures of Spirou & Fantasio and that´s keeping in mind that this comic is well known in Germany. But it seems that every time a comicbook movie comes out that is not a super hero movie - and especially when it is a franco / belgian bande dessinee - nobody is interested. Okay, it is not the greatest movie of all times but it is a decent adaption of the comics by Franquin with excellent production values and a cast that seems to have stepped right out of the comics. Even though I wish they would have cast a hotter actress as Seccontine.
You probably expected a video about the new Spirou comic by german artist Flix but I haven´t had time to read it yet and this was not the first time somebody else did a Spirou comic ( well, aside from all the other creative teams that took over the title after Franquin´s demise ).
Usually I would close things out with the Spirou cartoon but it is rare to find a complete film on YouTube and Grave Of The Fireflies is one of the best animes there are. In fact, Roger Ebert considers it to be one of the best and most powerful war films and included it in his Great Movies list.
