TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN: March 2026

As promised here is the second part to our look at RESURRECTION MAN by Dan Abnett, Andy Lanning, Jackson Guice and a whole plethora of fill in artists. By the way, we are flying by the pants of our seats on this one because I currently can't access my e - mail account. My new account.

I haven't mentioned it before but last Thursday just as I was about to close up shop for the night and go to bed I suddenly couldn't access my e - mail account and neither enter my amazon account. So the first thing I thought was that both accounts had been hacked. Since this was not the first time this has happened to me ( I don't remember if I mentioned the first time on the blog ) the first thing I did on Monday was go to my bank and block or destroy all my credit cards so nobody can pay for any orders from my amazon account. Of course I tried re - establishing my accounts but to re - establish the GMX e - mail account you have to introduce your phone number and the digital formular you have to fill out only accepts phone numbers from Germany, Austria or Switzerland so I can't use my actual spanish phone number and I have no idea which phone number I used when I first registered for my GMX e - mail account decades ago.

So that was a no - go. As for re - establishing my amazon account, at first I could not do it because GMX Spain kept sending the new verification code to my old e - mail account. Which I could not access. Which is why I needed this new verification code in the first place. Yesterday I finally managed to get access - I do not know through which miracle - and it looks like there have been no orders placed. Maybe the person who hacked the account didn't have time because I went to the bank right away. In any case I used the unexpected opportunity to cash in the amazon gift certificate that they apparently haven't found - otherwise they surely would have used it - even if that means that I have to collect the money for my next birthday present ( hopefully the Artists Edition of George Perez NEW TEEN TITANS will have come out by then ) again.

Originally I was waiting to see if any of the books in my amazon basket was going to get a decent discount but since I had to decide quickly - since I don't know for how long I have access to my amazon account this time - and I didn't want to hear more endless complaints for ordering another Artists Edition from my cranky uncles ( as the DC Comics Best Of War Comics and Jack Kirby's Mister Miracle Artists Editions were at a more than reasonable price ) I got the second volume of the SUPERMAN TRIANGLE ERA OMNIBUS since that offered a good price to page ratio.

I also thought about getting the second volume of the ROM OMNIBUS but it didn't have as much bang for your buck. Another good option was THE DEATH AND RETURN OF SUPERMAN OMNIBUS which was cheaper than the second SUPERMAN TRIANGLE ERA OMNIBUS at approximately the same page account but despite revisiting the event a lot on my blog recently I was not as interested in getting this as continuing with the triangle era.

Anyway, there were many other options to consider but like I said I was in a bit of a hurry. Man, I don't know if it is just me, and I don't know how things are currently in Germany but in my over 50 years of living in Germany I never had to think much about crime while here in Spain it is a constant companion. I have no idea how the crime rate is compared to Germany but here in Spain everybody wants to take advantage of you and you have to be aware of all scams all the time. You constantly get e - mails about how to best avoid getting scammed and I don't know if I am exaggerating here but my accounts have now been hacked two times.

The first time was just a few months after I had come to Spain and it turned into an all out war where somebody hacked my e - mail account, my amazon account, used my credit cards and tried to use my PayPal account ( thankfully I could stop that ). And now it has happened again.

Although I am not so sure if somebody really hacked my e - mail account.

You see, naturally I got a new e - mail account which I have been using since then but Today my login didn't work and I have not been able to re - establish access. I have changed the password three times now - and according to GMX successful - but I still can't get access. So maybe the problem is not that somebody hacked my e - mail account but with GMX.

Now you might be asking what all of this has to do with the blog. Well, I am glad you asked, Cheese my friend, because so far I always sent the HTML version of my posts to my e - mail account as a back - up in case something happens to the posts. But since I can not access my e - mail account anymore - and it doesn't look like I can get a new one anytime soon - we just have to rely on luck, keep writing on the blog without saving a backup and hoping nothing else goes wrong. As if I didn't have enough problems with blogger labelling my posts as NSFW left and right.

Put I guess that's the price you have to pay for living in a digital age.

Coming back to more pleasant things, one thing I haven't mentioned in my last post is that RESURRECTION MAN was written by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning who have not only written one of the best incarnations of THE GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - which was used as a basis for the MCU so that is the version everybody knows instead of the real OG Guardians of the Galaxy ( well, except for some old comicbook afficionados like me ) - but also THE best Marvel space event ANNIHILATION and the follow up ANNIHILATION CONQUEST which reignited the interest in the cosmic Marvel universe which up to that point lay dead and buried. On the other side they also wrote the worst Avengers book of all times with FORCE WORKS which basically killed the WEST COAST / AVENGERS WEST COAST.

The second thing I just found out while writing the first RESURRECTION MAN post is that there was a new six issue limited series in 2025 called RESURRECTION MAN : QUANTUM KARMA where Jackson Guice provided some variant covers and also the first introduction page for each issue.

And the last thing I have to mention is that amongst the many talented guest artists who help out Jackson Guice is none other than the great late Paul Ryan about whom I have written quite a few posts , from his stint on FANTASTIC FOUR ( which brought us the best costume ever of the then Not So Invisible Woman ), drawing AVENGERS AND AVENGERS WEST COAST at the same time and a plethora of posts about his run ( no pun intended ) on The Flash when FLASH FRIDAY became a weekly series.

Paul Ryan drew the first six pages of issue 25 which shows an adventure of the Forgotten Heroes and Immortal Man fighting Vandal Savage and the first page is mirrored by Jackson Guice towards the end of the issue.

But that's enough of an introduction which has been a lot of life updates and some RESURRECTION MAN trivia and as I am already at my time limit ( which gets shorter and shorter each day ) I will have to add the rest of the RESURRECTION MAN pages by Jackson Guice I selected Tomorrow.

Longtime followers of the blog know that I like to have a bit of variety in my posts, so since we had a lot of western stuff for the english speaking part of my audience I am trying to continue the military theme for my german readers. And after wrecking my brain for an entire day about which episode of a tv show I could include that fits the bill and coming up empty I went for the obvious choice with Win One For The Gipper of The Fall Guy better known as A Colt For Any Case ( Ein Colt fuer alle Faelle ) in Germany. I found a few versions of this but the one below has a slightly better quality than what you can normally find on YouTube.

Now in the episode neither Colt Seavers nor his cousin Howie Munson are joining the army but the villain of the episode is an army Sargent. The only other episode that involves soldiers would be Baker's Dozen which I do have with the german dubbing but in very low quality so here is the original version in HD. Of course this is a repost as this is one of the famous " Markie Post bikini episodes " of which there are only three.

This episode is especially memorable because it was the first time tv viewers around the world got to see Markie Post's bonerinducing 36C - 24 - 36 Playmate Of The Year measurements in a bikini on The Fall Guy.

I still haven´t truly processed Markie Post´s passing - and I promise to do a proper tribute post when I have the time. Again for my english speaking audience here is the original version of the episode with mouthwatering Markie Post - and let's not forget blonde beachbody Heather Thomas - wearing skimpy bikinis in high quality.

That's probably also the reason why one of the guys hates women and the other one is too interested in convincing Colt Seavers not to testify to do anything with Terri. I mean, realistically if two guys had an absolute Busenwunder that looks like sexy Markie Post captive for two days ( ! ) they would spend the first day taking turns at drilling each orifice of her body and the second day they would be tag - teaming her 24/7. Now for the longest time I couldn't see the episode and if I did I never remembered the ending so I made up one for me.

In it Terri Michaels had learned through her ordeal that life is too short to let opportunities slip by. So after the whole deal is over she uses her contacts as a lawyer to track down the young stud who tried to hit on her and goes to the bar where all the college boys go to in her best " fuck me " dress that shows off every inch of her spectacular body. All of his peers are speechless - especially when she leaves with him to a five star luxury hotel at a secret location where she drags him to a special soundproof bedroom so nobody can hear him screaming at the top of his lungs when she makes him squirt like a fire hose for the next two weeks.

In The Fall Guy Colt Seavers always tried to avoid Terri Michaels and the reason they gave was that the jobs she got him turned out to be more dangerous than she made them look. But if my bail bonds contractor was a walking sex machine like Markie Post with a fantastic bikini figure and long legs for miles up to her chin I would have taken every job she had.

Of course I would have waited until she was really desperate so I could get a higher price and I would insist that instead of paying in cash she would have to work it off in naturals. In the show Colt Seavers has an outdoor bathtub and I would have ended the episode with Colt using Terri as his personal blow up sex doll in the bathtub while Terri spreads her legs apart wider than a fillipino hooker with her rent money due.

I know that such a scene probably would not have passed the tv censors but if it would have been too much to show full frontal nudity with her they could have shown her back while she was sliding up and down on Colt´s hard boner. Now in the past I have never made a proper comicbook movie casting for Markie Post because for me she was just predestined to play Power Girl.
