Usually I don't believe in coincidences but it has been exactly six years since my last post about ROM SPACEKNIGHT written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated ( for the most part ) by Sal Buscema so it is definitely about time we make another visit to the idyllic town of Clairton, West Virginia.
Now regular blog visitors may have noticed that my second post on Sal Buscema's run on THE INCREDIBLE HULK with inker Joe Sinnott where the Hulk - with a bit of help from his cousin Jennifer Walters a.k.a. She Hulk - fights the cyborg Arsenal was slapped by a NSFW block and I have no idea why. If I had added my usual cult siren shenanegans which can often be risky I could understand it but so far I have only added material from comicbooks that have been approved by the Comics Code Authority in 1983 and some videos that are freely available on YouTube without any age restrictions. So I have no idea what the problem could have been. At the moment I have re - posted the post and I hope everything works out.
If not that post will be another one in an ever rising line of posts that have an NSFW label and where I have no idea why or how to get rid of it so I will have to leave that problem for later when I can finish the post.
So with the administrative troubles aside let's get to Today's post. After working the entire week on the Hulk posts I have decided to take a break from Marvel Comics most successful green giant and start on one of my all time favourite series not only from Marvel Comics space universe or Marvel's Bronze Age but one of my favourite Bronze Age series - period.
Even if it didn't start out that way. Going back to my first ROM post - just to make sure I don't repeat myself - I have written what an unexpected surprise it was to find issues of the series ( together with issues of other Marvel Comics like SHANG CHI, MASTER OF KUNG FU or Hero Comics CAPTAIN THUNDER AND BLUE BOLT ) at the newsstand at the Monrepos bus station in Ludwigsburg where I always made a stop going to school - or later to work - and which became my main source for comicbooks as well as movie magazines, nudie magazines, books, trade paperbacks and countless numbers of JOHN SINCLAIR and other horror pulp novel series.
Now I also mentioned that you could always find plenty of issues of ROM SPACEKNIGHT in the dollar bins - which I think Today would be called " reading copies " which sounds just ridiculous to me because why would anybody buy a comicbook if not to read it - at comic conventions. And when I say conventions I mean mainly the International Comic Salon that took place in Erlangen every 2 years and went from Thursday to Sunday.
Now for those readers out there who have never bought comics at a con or have never been to a comic convention that last four days a little bit of explaining is in order. Because I started really collecting ROM like most people. When you are at a comic convention that lasts four days there comes a time - usually around the third day - where you find you have a lot of time on your hands and nothing to do. Maybe you plan to go to an art exhibition, a panel discussion, get something signed or original art by some of your favourite artists. Whatever it is you have to wait and you have already seen everything, been to every booth to fill the gaps in your collection ( back then every comicbook collector worth his salt had a list with all the numbers he was still missing that he carried with him at all times because you never knew when the occasion to fill those gaps would arise ) and then there is this series that pops into your head from which you saw a lot of issues in the dollar bins that looked interesting enough that you go another time to see if you can get a complete run.
And then when you are back at the hotel room - or if things don't work out that well - back home you get to read the issues and then you really like them. So you try to get those missing issues - if you could not get them all at the convention which then turns into an obsession and it takes you many years to find the last few issues to complete this run.
And then you have to sell them all years later when you move to Spain.
And you give up on ever being able to read the book again. And that is when fate decides that it has finally punished you enough and intervenes so that Marvel Comics finally reprints ROM SPACEKNIGHT - in three neat omnibus hardcovers. Of which I have managed to get the first one which in turn will be the issues that you will see original art from in this post.

schlefaz dollman vs demonic toys
we already had the episode of schlefaz with dollman in last year's LEGION OF SUPER - HEROES CHRISTMAS post so here we have the crossover between dollman and demonic toys once again with tracy scoggins

speaking of hot sexbombs in these movies samantha phillips toyman
The only noteworthy thing about this movie is the participation of 34D - 26 - 35 Penthouse Pet Samatha Phillips who holds the record for getting her pictures published in the most countries. Sadly she doesn´t play the lead and is completely wasted in this film as she has no nude scenes.

She was put to much better use playing Samatha Maxx, the busty blonde with the high squirt factor in The Dallas Connection ( also Deadworks ).
Sadly she was only in one Andy Sidaris movie but you can see her naked in classics like Hot Springs Hotel, Passion Cove, Bedtime Stories, Fallen Angel ( which is in no way related to the Angel revenge movie franchise ), The Regina Pierce Affair, Passion´s Obsession and Sexual Malice ( ! ).

As my regular blog visitors know I am a huge fan of the late Andy Sidaris.
He was THE BEST director of action movies for adults and his cast is a WHO IS WHO of playmates : 40DD Playmate Of The Month November 1984 Roberta Vasquez, 34D Page 3 girl turned sex therapist Ava Cadell , 41D Penthouse Pet Of The Year 1993 Julie Strain, Samantha Phillips, 34D Playmate Of The Month May 1994 Shae Marks , 36D Penthouse Pet Of The Month February 1993 Julie K. Smith , 34C Playmate Of The Month September 1993 Carrie Westcott or also Dona Speir to name just a few.

So the newer blog visitors might want to check out this spin - off post from 2019 with all the usual links to Janet Jones Gretzky and real live Power Girl Leslie Easterbrook who had the most famous scene in Police Academy 4 - Citizens on Patrol as the 40C Busenwunder emerges from a pool in a wet t - shirt. While many Andy Sidaris actresses / playmates / sexbombs like Roberta Vasquez, Ava Cadell , brunette Cynthia Brimhall, Dona Speir, Julie Strain , Shae Marks , Julie K. Smith and Samantha Phillips are mentioned the main part is about blonde brabuster Monique " Men Milker " Sluyter and the obligatory plethora of " Tutti Frutti " girls.

Now usually I just include a short part with them in the posts but this time I did a somewhat longer version so I could include all the new download links I found while writing that post. I recently included a whole slew of new ones but those were just for compilation and mixes while these new ones were not only for entire episodes - which are very rare - but for german episodes which are even rarer. Some of them even included my favourite Tutti Frutti Sexbombe ( the one in the middle ).

Sadly all those download links are no longer valid but you can find a lot of videos from the original show Colpo Grosso including full episodes on this channel. Of course the videos have an age restriction on YouTube.
