Coming back to our topic, I don´t think I have to explain LITTLE ANNIE FANNY to any of the guys among my readership because it´s a comic you just know about and you have at least one version of the comic in your collection. It´s one of the standards. The version I have currently is a german album sized comic and I think there are only a few selected stories in there. I have always tried to get a complete volume but so far I either haven´t found one at a price I can afford or I saw one and forgot about it.
In any case, unlike most posts I have less than 23 pages here but since you have to read the complete stories to fully appreciate them I decided it was more important to have complete stories. As you can see all original art pages in this post are from HERITAGE OPTIONS but there still will be some links for more about LITTLE ANNIE FANNY nonetheless. Since some of the pages are a little bit more explicit than my usual posts ( although there are some which border on porn ) I hope it is okay to post them. I mean, this is a very important comic in the history of comics. If my blog has disappeared ( once again ) Tomorrow you will know what happened.

As I announced in our last post I am splitting the celebrity birthdays between the two posts starting with an anniversary for September the 18th and the late James Gandolfini best known as the family head in The Sopranos. I had to spend quite some time to find this but the name of the actress who plays the sexy nurse in episode one is Bernadette Penotti.

He wrote a lot of series I read with much gusto like the three issue Phantom Zone mini series which was drawn by the late Gene Colan and inked by the late Tony DeZuniga or the A. Bizarro mini series but besides Omega The Unknown ( of which I have only read the first issue as part of my Marvel Firsts : The 1980s - Volume 3 trade ) and reviving the Guardians of the Galaxy team he is of course best known for his runs on Defenders and Howard The Duck - also in great parts illustrated by Gene Colan ( which gave us a movie that could have been better but gave us Lea Thompson in underwear so it all balances out ).
I have enough material for a Defenders OR Howard The Duck post but while I favor the section option - since that would give me an excuse to post art by Gene Colan - I have to postpone it like so many posts lately.
But now we come to the hundred pound gorilla of September the 20th, Brinke Stevens who celebrates 64 years and more than 150 ( ! ) movies.
I´m sure I could come up with a comic connection as she has worked with any actor you could think of but the list is just too long. Where actresses are concerned she has worked with most stars you know from midnight movies and her most frequent on screen partners are Lynnea Quigley and Michelle Bauer so I won´t list all of their collaborations. She played with both actresses most associated with the role of needy french high society nympho Emanuelle, with Sylvia Kristel in Private School and Emanuelle IV and with Monique Gabrielle in Love Scenes, Scream Queen Hot Tub Party and Munchies which also featured the blonde sexbomb Loni Anderson.
With the former wife of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co creator Kevin Eastman ( I knew there was a comic book connection somewhere ) Julie Strain she was in front of the camera in Bleed, Birth Rite, Delta Delta Die ! and Exterminator City which also featured porn stars Taylor Wayne and Jill Kelly. Brinke also has the erotic movie trifecta on her list : with Shauna O´Brien she was in Over The Wire and with Nikki Fritz she was in five movies. Hybrid, Illicit Dreams 2, The Vampire Hunters Club, Cheerleader Massacre ( which features Samantha Phillips whom you might remember from Andy Sidaris´ classic The Dallas Connection also known as Deadworks ) and Auditions From Beyond with the only missing one, sexy Mia Zottoli.
On the top of her list however are Cassandra Peterson a.k.a. Elvira in Acting On Impulse, Tura Satana in Mark Of The Astro - Zombie, she even was in 24 Hours To Midnight with martial arts legend Cynthia Rothrock.
Since I have put up links to all the movies with Brinke Stevens I mentioned that I could find on YouTube I really don´t need to include another video but a while ago I was doing research on Michelle Bauer and came across two clips from Terror On Tape. And since I only need one of them in the unlikely event that I get to do a post around Michelle Bauer´s birthday or have some other reason to mention her in a post I´m posting one of them.
I used to read all books of Stephen King as a teenager but the man has such a staggering output that it is impossible to keep up with all the books, tv series and movies. He turned 71 Yesterday and I have to admit that I have fallen behind on the Dark Tower comic books, mainly because they switched from the hardcover format to trades only. I could write an entire post about those only right now I don´t have that much material.
I´m not sure if his newer series like Under The Dome really interest me but I have probably seen most of the movie adaptions and while they are of varying success even the worst of them have some redeeming quality.
Since we had another video about Creepshow in Today´s other post that talks about the behind the scenes trivia I feel it´s time to post a video which you can just watch. So here is Creepshow 2 which is not quite as good as the original - although the animation in the framing sequences is much better - but not as bad as the third part. And yes, I got a video about why that is too. In any case, I hope you enjoy the movie. I think I might have posted it before but you can´t wait too long if you find one of these classic horror flicks in high quality because they never last long on YouTube. Let´s hope this one stays at least until I have finished the post.
The 21th of September would also have been the 87th birthday of Larry Hagman best known for his role of J. R. Ewing on Dallas which featured just a plethora of hot babes like Stacy Sanchez, Michelle Johnson, Priscilla Presley, Coleen Camp, Charlene Tilton, Deborah Shelton, Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Carrera, Tracy Scoggins, Claudia Christian, Lesley Anne - Down, Victoria Principal, Janine Turner or Audrey Landers who together with her sister Judy Landers was one of the hottest commodities of that time.

I was not sure if I had a video for Chuck Jones because I always get him mixed up with Tex Avery and then I have to remind myself who is who.
Today could be officially be declared Doctor Who Day since we got two cast members celebrating a birthday starting with Billie Piper who turns 36. She became famous all over the world as Rose, the first companion on the rebooted Doctor Who and the internet will probably hate me for that but in my opinion she is only the second hottest companion of that new incarnation. I´m sorry, but Freema Agyeman is just oozing sex appeal.
Back to Billie Piper, apart from Doctor Who she has been in two Sally Lockhart movies ( as far as I know there hasn´t been a third yet ) about which I wrote in an earlier post. Not knowing the books they are based on I still found them remarkably well done and you can get them for 9 bucks.
Billie also appears in the Penny Dreadful series which I haven´t had the time to check out yet and of course Secret Diary Of A Callgirl. Being such an old perv it really defies all logic that I still haven´t watched the one show where you are guaranteed to see Billie Piper in underwear - and less.
We still got more Doctor Who to talk about as Frazer Hines celebrates his 74th birthday who is best known for playing highlander Jamie McCrimmon.
He holds the record as the longest running companion who has appeared in 117 episodes and only the first four Doctors appeared in more episodes.
Now for those who think hot female companions are a concept from the new Who I only want to mention that he and the second Doctor Patrick Troughton shared the Tardis with astrophysicist Zoe Heriot from the 21st century played by Wendy Padbury who had a really tight fitting costume.
Back to Frazier Hines, his Jamie McCrimmon was a capable companion who adapted surprisingly well to traveling through space and time with the Doctor for a person two centuries removed who got he Doctor out of quite a number of jams - and vice versa. He was a loyal companion who was always quick with a joke or punching somebody in the face who deserved it always wearing his heart on a sleeve but knowing when to speak his mind and when to wait and see. In short a likeable guy with whom you would go for drinks in the nearest pub, star outpost or cave.
Our first music video is a callback to an older post and doesn´t really count since it is part four of Doja Cat´s interview. Which I would have included in that post but it went online after I had finished writing it. As always.
We are staying with mega busty babes in our second music video and this is the one that really counts. I mean, in the one with Doja Cat we don´t even have music so, duh. As seems to be a recurring theme on this blog I once again squandered the chance to post something on Elvira´s birthday. And that with all the videos I have bookmarked. Elvira is living proof that all good things come in pairs - and who doesn´t love to come on a good pair - so our second video with Elvira is a monster documentary. I haven´t watched all of it but as far as I can tell Elvira only does the intro so there is more monsters than monster boobs in this one.
