But since I didn't want to have two EC Comics in a row I opted to do two posts for CHAOS ! COMICS main horror titles featuring scantily clad bad girls - EVIL ERNIE which of course includes LADY DEATH - and PURGATORI and things have gone to hell in a handbasket to put it mildly very fast.
Both posts have not only been flagged as NSFW they have been set back to the draft setting and no matter how many changes I have made to the content they keep getting flagged. Now if I had even the slightest idea what the problem is with these posts it would be much easier to fix this.
But since the only thing you get from blogger is a general notification that some of the content in your post is problematic without specifying which part is causing the problem or what part of the litany of things that are not allowed on blogger you have violated that is not much help.
And with my posts it could be really anything. So I don't know what it is especially with my post about PURGATORI that is so problematic, the depiction of devils, demons or vampires, the scantily clad female form so aptly depicted by Mike Deodato Jr, the religious parts of the story, the blood etc because I have had plenty of that in other posts - and even more explicit stuff - in my other posts without causing much problems.
Now I have gotten a few comments from my regular readers why I don't simply change the setting of the blog to an adults only post and be done with it. But I don't want to do that because most of the stuff on this blog is not risky in any way. Which also doesn't prevent posts from getting flagged as NSFW because I remember that my second post about Joe Madureiras BATTLE CHASERS got that specific honour. And that was before I had added any of my signature stuff that could be a bit risky based solely on the pictures from the series. I guess Red Monkia's giant - sized bonerinducing XXXL melons were just too big to handle for blogger.
Also while I do have problems with posts getting flagged as NSFW at the present time there are maybe ten posts - at maximum - that have been put on notice which out of a total number of over 1,420 published posts is less than two percent. Now would you change an entire blog to being for adult readers for a few posts that make out less than two percent ?
I didn't think so.
In any case, since it seems that I just can't get the PURGATORI post to stick unless blogger becomes more relaxed in regards to its content - at the moment the EVIL ERNIE / LADY DEATH post is still up so let's hope we dodged a bullet on that - to save at least the pop culture trivia / cult siren section of the post ( into which I have put a lot of work ) here is the post I didn't want to write ( or at least not so soon on the heels of my EC Comics post ) since it seems easier to show death and carnage when it is connected to war and crime stuff than to show supple boobs and slight nudity but the bonus section is from the PURGATORI post.
