So this will be the definite final part of my homage to Hugh Hefner, the man. the myth, the legend although I might do a bonus round with some of the cult sirens that appeared inside PLAYBOY I haven´t featured yet.
Because as always I found some of the best pictures while doing the research but we´ll have to see if it is enough for a post of its own.
We start the month of December with a bang on the 2nd with another double whammy. Born in 1966 we have Renee Tenison and the Playmate Of The Month in November 1989 not only became the first Playmate Of The Year of afro - american descend in 1990 the 36D 23 - 32 sexbomb also has one of the best bodies to ever grace the pages of that magazine. Fun fact : her twin sister Rosie was still working in a normal job when Renee already had become Playmate of the Year. Thankfully she realized one day that she looks exactly like her sister and tried her hand at modeling posing together for PLAYBOY and appearing in some of their Sexy Sisters videos.
Rosie Tenison was also on Flex Appeal with hawaiian / chinese / irish fitness guru Kiana Tom ( whom you can find in part two of this series ).
Our second playmate anniversary from December the 2nd - in 1967 this time - is a sad one since another quintessential 80s playmate, 32E - 22 - 34 Sharry Konopski is part of our Dearly Departed list. She was chosen as the Playmate Of The Month in August 1987 and was known for her exceptional beauty and possibly the best all natural breasts in all of PLAYBOY history.
She also was into a lot of stuff I like, pizza and hot rods, and from what I could read online she was a straightforward person who called it like it is.
Sadly she was injured in a car accident in 1995 which left her permanently paraplegic ( paralyzed from the waist down ). From her website: " I wrecked my car and had to be airlifted to Emanuel Hospital in Portland, OR. For six weeks, I had a sucking chest wound and my right lung collapsed and the t - 9 and t - 11 vertebrate had burst fractures in my spine with massive bruising to my spinal cord leaving me paralyzed from the waist down. I am not able to keep the muscles tight enough to stand or walk but I do have sensory. So, I can feel for the most part, thank God ! "
This did not stop her from posing for PLAYBOY again in March 1997 and she still looked amazing. Sharry continued to model, and appeared in videos geared towards " devotees " of paraplegics and amputees. Sharry passed away with 49 on August the 27th 2017 after a long battle with cancer.
On December the 3rd we have 34E Sexbombe Sylvia Leifheit who posed naked for the german PLAYBOY in September of 2019. Longtime followers of the blog are probably familiar with her since I often mention Sylvia - as well as natural born stripper starlet Yasmina Filai ( whom we covered in the previous part of this countdown ) - in connection with Die Rote Meile, which is the show sexy Sylvia is best known for. At least in Germany.
The series was named after the red light district of St. Pauli in Hamburg and was a sequel to The King of St. Pauli. It followed the lives of pimps, prostitutes and strippers but they were all portrayed like regular people not like in american tv where people from this walk of life are always horrible people. Anyway, I watched every episode because they had a very easy concept : one strip in every episode not interrupted by commercials.
Daimn, that girl really has the prototype of the heart shaped ass. Longtime readers know that one of my pet pevees on this blog is celebrating all the brave actresses who turn insufferable dreck into bearable entertainment by taking their clothes off or at least show what their Mama gave them and who don´t get enough recognition for that . And there were some on Die Rote Meile as I found out when I tried to find the names of the best strippers. Yes, only the " real " actors are mentioned in the cast meaning those with a speaking part which tells you which place some women still occupy in Today´s society. So if anybody out there knows the name of the living blow up sex doll with the big melons below put it in the comments.
Anyway, one of the best strippers of the regular cast is Sylvia Leifheit who has a secret identity in the series as she plays the typical devoted wife by day, secret stripper by night. Sylvia made me realize two things : firstly, while I usually don´t go for skinny chicks she is just oozing so much sex appeal that I would do her in a minute. And second, hair color can really make a difference because her character in the series is actually a blonde and despite having the same stunning figure as a blonde she´s kind of - meh - looking while as Luna with the black wig she´s a real firecracker !
So far we haven´t had an Andy Sidaris related playmate but luckily on December the 12th there is 34C - 24 - 34 Playmate Of The Month September 1993 Carrie Westcott who starred in Return To Savage Beach .

I know that it is a common superstition that 13 is an unlucky number but in this case it is quite the opposite since we have a veritable playmate trifecta on December the 13th. We start in 1928 with the late 39D ( !!! ) - 25 - 35 bra buster Eve Meyer who was not only a high profile pin up model in the 1950s but also the Playmate Of The Month of June back in 1955.
Eve is best known for being married to one of my personal heroes, film maker Russ Meyer and playing the lead role in Eve And The Handyman.
Behind the camera Eve was the producer or associate producer of Lorna, Mudhoney, Faster Pussycat ! Kill ! Kill !, Motorpsycho, Mondo Topless, Common Law Cabin, Good Morning and Goodbye, Finders Keepers Lovers Weepers, Vixen, Harry Cherry & Raquel and Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls. She was however not involved in my favorite Russ Meyer movie UP !
Meyer’s 1976 comedy thriller UP ! was co - written by Roger Ebert and contains Nazis, lesbianism, rape, buggery, a backwoods sheriff, piranha, kinky sex - and that’s just the first 10 minutes ! The movie offers a lot of very graphic sex scenes which are highly erotic, well photographed and stunningly edited. The female cast members all engage with the outdoor, sunny California countryside, but under a spell of kinetic blankness like sex machines gone wild especially Janet Wood who not only has a name made for porn movies if I ever heard one but also one of the best scenes with her on - screen partner Robert McLane who was a homosexual in real life.
I have read that homosexual actors are often used in straight porn movies because they can pound a woman for hours without risking to climax but Janet Wood doesn´t look like a woman who cares if her sex partner will squirt as long as she can milk him dry. So either she rode him like a woman possessed because she could vent all her pent up sexual frustration or she worked herself into a frenzy trying to put him on the straight path again.
In any case with a name like Janet Wood she was predestined for explicit sex scenes and her nymphomaniac urges got the better of Janet because she has never acknowledged her nude work in this film over the decades.
Now besides possibly being the first Russ Meyer movie I saw in a cinema another reasons why it´s my favorite - besides the bevy of hot sexbombs like Kitten Natividad or Marianne Marks in the cast - is the lead actress.
The gorgeous Raven De La Croix with an exotic name and a body which can only be a true gift from the gods, stars as Margo Winchester, one of Meyer’s strongest female characters. Constantly victimized by most men, yet refusing to play the victim, spitting out her lines in a Mae West - type drawl, Raven De La Croix and her bountiful figure totally steal the movie.
Totally nude and usually running around outdoors for most of the film, De La Croix is incredibly sexy and funny. She had done lots of modeling by 1976 and appeared in UP! after coming to terms with the fact that she had to perform nude scenes and graphic sex scenes. According to De La Croix, she really went all out for this film, destroying her feet while running through the desert, almost sacrificing her life during the drowning / rape scene, and unknowingly being body doubled during some of the more questionable sex scenes ( I wonder where they found the body double ).
Raven De La Croix looks like a real life Wonder Woman and it´s a shame there never was a Wonder Woman movie with Raven in the lead role.
The former blow up sex doll template played the role of überbusty horny amazonian princess in the 1984 Jim Wynorsky skin flick The Lost Empire. I wrote a bit more about her in my first Justice League Casting Alternates .
And while I have mentioned some of the well endowed actresses from his cult movies like 39D playmate Eve Meyer , 44F Busenwunder Uschi Digard or natural born indian 42F stripper Raven De La Croix in various posts I have only written solo cult siren entries for two of the greatest Russ Meyer muses : Haji and Tura Satana . People ask me how I decide whom I include in this section because there is probably at least one playmate birthday every day and my criteria is simple : only the ones I know and where I have something to say ( and hopefully some picture that is safe to post on the blog ). If I have to look her up that means I don´t remember her and she won´t be mentioned.
That´s definitely not the case with our next candidate for December the 13th, busty, luscious and longlegged stunner Marianne Gravatte. Believe me, once you have seen her nude pictures you will never forget her. Her body is absolutely mind blowing which makes the fact that she almost didn´t pose for PLAYBOY because she was too shy even more incredible.
Born on December 13, 1959 in Hollywood, California, Marianne graduated from Arcadia High School in 1978. Gravatte was not only the Playmate of the Month in the October 1982 issue of PLAYBOY, she also became the Playmate of the Year in 1983 thanks to her bonerinducing 34D - 21 - 32 measurements. Marianne posed for a bunch of PLAYBOY special edition publications and appeared in several PLAYBOY videos so I got to see plenty of her and she may be responsible for my obsession with bikini tan lines.
With her dream body it´s no surprise Gravatte made guest appearances on Matt Houston in the aptly named episode The Bikini Murders and The New Mike Hammer as Brenda in the episode titled Dead Man´s Run. Moreover, Marianne not only graced the cover of the 1985 album Invasion of Your Privacy by Ratt, but was also featured in the music videos for Ric Ocasek's Something to Grab For, Zebra's No Tellin' Lies, and Ratt's Lay It Down.
Gravatte eventually got married and has three children. Marianne Gravatte and her husband own a sports bar in Huntington Beach, California.
Our third and final candidate from December the 13th - in 1961 this time - is 34C - 23 - 33 real life Power Girl Karen Witter and I didn´t see her first in the pages of PLAYBOY but in the episode Kill Devil of the series Mickey Spillane´s Mike Hammer. Now I know that I use the term " real life Power Girl " quite often but Karen Witter looks so much like Power Girl in her - sadly too short - scene that it seems like she is auditioning for the role.
Naturally I wanted to find out who this ultimate blow up sex doll was but it took me a few years because - as it couldn´t be any other way - she was uncredited. It was through sheer luck that I found out her name is Karen Lorre, formerly Karen Witter, she was Playmate Of The Month of March in 1982, and was on the PLAYBOY cover in March 1983 and SPORT & FITNESS.
At the time she became a Playmate, Witter was attending the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. She soon made the transition to acting, working on tv in guest spots on series like Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer - in the episode below where she was uncredited - and also in the episodes Bonecrunch as Deborah and Satan, Cyanide and Murder as Lucille ( 1984 ).
Karen also had bit parts on Trapper John M. D. ( 1986 ), Cheers ( 1988 ), The Vineyard ( 1989 ), The X - Files ( 1995 ), Sabrina the Teenage Witch ( 1998 ), NYPD Blue ( 2000 ) and Malcolm in the Middle ( 2001 ). She also appeared in the movie Another Chance ( 1989 ). From 1990 to 1994 Karen had a contract role as the 4th Tina Lord on ABC´s soap opera One Life to Live, for which she was nominated for a 1991 Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer in Daytime. Karen Witter later appeared as Nemesis in Hercules : The Legendary Journeys, in the seventh episode.
Karen married TV producer Chuck Lorre in 2001 ( hence the name change to Lorre in the IMDB entry ); they had two children and are now divorced.

We have our second Andy Sidaris playmate on December the 20th with Wendy Hamilton who became the Playmate Of The Month of December in 1991 thanks to her statuesque 5 foot 10 inch 35D - 24 - 36 porn star frame.
