As attentive followers of the blog know there are no more X - Men related birthdays this month so instead I am posting some of the original art of the artists I don´t usually mention. Like all comic fans who have read the exploits of Marvel´s merry band of mutants over a longer period of time I have my favorite artists and I tend to focus on them while other creators have to wait their turn. So here is their chance and luckily I had most of this material already prepared so writing the post should be really quick.
Issue 303 of UNCANNY X - MEN is one of the best written X - Men stories ever and as much as the 90s are maligned I´m glad that it came out when it did. I shudder to think into what kind of farce the writers that work at Disney Today would turn it. Although keeping in mind how self - centered and in constant need of validation every character at Marvel is right now - plus the fact that they write every mutant character like a villain ( and Carol Manvers is an outright super villain whose only purpose in life seems to be to kill Tony Stark over and over again plus as many Avengers as she can ) - I am not sure if it would be a story. Jubilee would probably be to busy making selfies or bullying somebody on unsocial media for not being an SJW - mind - controled puppet to notice somebody was sick. The X - Men would probably only realize Illyana´s death after the fact and then turn her funeral service into a giant media spectacle to push their own agenda on other people. So as you can guess I´m not very optimistic that they can pull off a half decent NEW MUTANTS movie but I hope I am wrong. This could be the first really good Marvel movie in a long while.
We are continuing with the celebrity birthdays for April the 12th with Ed O´Neill who turns 74. Now you may say that I am only writing about old stuff but in my defense I am currently binge watching Married With Children ( I bought the complete set a few years ago but haven´t had the time to watch it so far ) and I found out a few things about the series I didn´t know before. Like the fact that they changed the title song with the third season - at least in America. Here in Germany they always used the same title song in all of the seasons. There also was a plethora of sexbombs on that show - too many to mention them all - but for me one of the hottest was the Playmate of the Month April in 1986 Teri Weigel.
Because of Teri´s perplexing 36E ( !!! ) - 22 - 34 physique and protruding torpedo shaped sweater puppies she became quite popular and was in a few videos and special editions from PLAYBOY. She also was one of the few playmates who also appeared in PENTHOUSE although not as a Pet of the Month. She was just everywhere during the late 80s / early 90s. She later had her breasts enlarged and starred in quite a few porn movies but in my opinion she looked best in her appearances on Married with Children .
What I completely brainfart on is Teri also appeared in Baywatch ( she is topless in the pilot episode although that part can sometimes be censored ), Predator 2 and Savage Beach by Andy Sidaris. Fun fact : Teri Weigel and Carolyn Liu both were in PLAYBOY´s Sexy Lingerie 3 and both appeared in Andy Sidaris movies but not together. Carolyn Liu is also very well known in Germany amongst people of my generation since she took her clothes off on Tutti Frutti with Power Girl Monique Sluyter as did Sandra Wild, a blonde sexbomb with giant breasts who also was in an Andy Sidaris movie.

He was one of those supporting actors who may not have been famous but he appeared in a plethora of tv shows and movies and I could do an entire MOVIE RUMMAGE TABLE post just about him and all of the famous people he worked with.
Instead I am only listing some of the things he did and as it couldn´t be any other way I am going to mention a few of the cult sirens he worked with. Now I don´t have solo posts for all of these Hollywood sexbombs but I will try to - if not include an animated GIF and a video - at least include a link if I have mentioned her in a previous post. Since this will probably be blown out of proportion I might have to cut it up into a few parts later.

80s Power Girl Markie Post is probably the best known cult siren on the blog because not only have I done many re - posts of her original post .
I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .

Speaking of vampires, I am currently re - watching the last four seasons of Smallville ( I am actually taking a break because you can´t watch some of the episodes of season 9 so I had to order it again from amazon and I am waiting for them ) and I had totally forgotten that James Marsters played Brainiac on Smallville. I have posted a lot of the virtual panels from the Wizardworld Virtual Experience in the last posts so I want to take a break from that with Michael Rosenbaum´s episode of Inside Of You with James Marster. Yep, it´s Lex Luthor interviewing Brainiac. The only thing that I don´t like about this episode is that they talk a lot about James Marsters work on Angel and Buffy as Spike but not on Torchwood or Smallville.
Speaking of tv shows based on DC Comics properties what I really would love to re - watch is Batman - The Animated Series but that´s one big gap in our cartoon collection. We have a lot of Justice League, Young Justice and most of the movies but that´s one we are missing and I am not sure if it even came out on DVD in Germany. They released all the crappy Batman series like The Batman where every villain knows martial arts or Beware The Batman where Alfred is suddenly James Bond but they are skimming on the good stuff. They haven´t released all the episodes of Batman - The Brave And The Bold, only the first season of Batman Beyond and I don´t know if they have released anything from Batman - The Animated Series.
I was looking for it on amazon but since the series was just called Batman in Germany you get anything else when you type in Batman and when you type in Batman - The Animated Series you only get the foreign versions.
With the corona lockdown we all spend more time watching movies so I want to pimp one of my personal favorites that is somewhat underrated.
Now I know that there are readers who skip the part with Markie Post altogether or at least don´t watch the Fall Guy episodes I post so since I mentioned Dallas here is the first episode of I Dream Of Jeannie with Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman who also played the infamous J. R. Ewing.
We are continuing with tv shows from my younger days and I don´t know if Piggeldy & Frederick is known abroad or if it´s a german thing. For those who have never seen it it was often shown on Sandmännchen ( which was the show little boys watched before going to bed ) and the story was always the same : the young pig Piggeldy always has a question and the older pig Frederick always has an answer. Sometimes it´s not the answer you expect but he has one. People from my generation know these stories by heart and this show gave us all the important information, not school.
If Piggeldy & Frederick taught me everything about life I learned about the need to protect our environment from The Wombels. What I didn´t know is that in the original version Bernard Cribbins who played Donna Noble´s grandfather Wilfred Mott on Doctor Who was the narrator.
