TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN: Trade paperback Tuesday : Robert McGinnis

With all the hectic things that are going on in my personal life and the work involved in finishing up a post I completely overlooked that I now would have two DOCTOR WHO related posts in a row so I wanted to do something different to bring a little bit of diversity to my followers.

But instead of the usual comicbook stuff or superheroes I wanted to do something that more people can relate to. As faithful visitors of this little blog know I often come across the best material when I am looking for something completely different and when I am finished writing the post in question that art gets shelved for later use. Which may or may not come.

Well, a few days ago while going through my art folders I combined the material from the folders I had labeled " trade paperback " and " pulp novels " and since I have not posted any of its content I decided to rectify that oversight since none of us really knows how much time we have left.

So this post is kind of a callback to my pre - comicbook - afficionado reading days when I was not bitten by the comic bug and spent my money as easily on horror, crime fiction or pulp novels as on the newest exploits of BESSY, RAHAN - SOHN DER VORZEIT or WASTL. What always caught my attention were the covers of those pulp trade paperbacks which were often very raunchy with the most outrageous and scandalous titles.

But that´s the topic of one of the follow - up posts ( What ? You didn´t think I could fit all of these covers into one post. ) for this one I have decided to do an artist´s spotlight. The only problem is that I am not one hundred percent sure about the name of the artist. And I am not sure if all of the pieces in this post are by the same artist. But there is a common look to them that I remember from those cheap pulps I would come across at newsstands around the world whenever I travel. As far as I could find out his name is probably Robert McGinnis. So here are the covers or art pieces I chose for this post - in some cases I was lucky enough to find the original illustration AND the printed cover - and if you have any additional info on the name of the artist please let me know in the comments below.

It´s been over a week since I started this post and the perfectionist in me was hoping to find one more video but it´s high time to wrap things up.

Before we come to the usual assortment of the weird and sexy I wanted to announce a new comic podcast for my german readers. At least I hope it´s new. I´m not always up to date with all things on the german comic front since my late brother was the one who always kept in touch with that. Anyway, for those who haven´t heard about it yet there is a podcast from the guys at BLACK DOG COMICS - one of the two online comic shops where I go to fill the gaps in my comic collection - and as far as I know ( as usual I haven´t had the time to listen to a full episode yet ) it´s hosted by two guys : one who is a comic reader and who who works in a comic shop. You might think that I would be cautious to include a podcast where I can´t give a recommendation but german podcasts about comicbooks are very far between and the ones you can find don´t always last very long.

Longtime readers know that one of my pet pevees on this blog is celebrating all the brave actresses who turn insufferable dreck into bearable entertainment by taking their clothes off or at least show what their Mama gave them and who don´t get enough recognition for that .

The same goes for every woman where I post a picture. The only problem with that is that very often I don´t know the names of the girls in the pictures I post. Which is either because the name on that picture is the wrong one - which happens more often then you might think - or there is no name on the picture at all. It also might be the case that I came upon the picture while looking for something completely different - as I already explained in the beginning of this post - and I don´t have the time to put the proper name on the picture. But for all intents and purposes I try to give credit where credit is due whenever I can. And I even had whole posts called WHO`S THAT GIRL ? or UNKNOWN POWER GIRLS ( when the women in question were exceptionally largebreasted ) dedicated to ask or give my readers more information about these unknown sexbombs.

Which I want to revive for this. Because the same applies to cosplay girls.

Now I have never made a secret that I am sexually obsessed with Power Girl. There are dozens of posts dedicated to DC´s Maid of the Mighty Mammaries and while I haven´t written one recently I started a new series about one of my favorite artists from my earliest comic reading days. And while the first post was all about Joe Staton´s contribution to the GREEN LANTERN ( or DIE GRÜNE LEUCHTE how he was called in Germany and at that time I was reading mostly german comics ) my next ones were about his version of Power Girl - which I had to split into two separate posts, the intro and the main post - since Joe Staton not only drew all of the stories of Power Girl or the Justice Society of America but basically everything on Earth 2. For those who want to check it out I also managed to do a follow - up post with a lot more Green Lantern art by Joe Staton just last week .

In any case, as I said I am kind of obsessed with Power Girl and when that is combined with hot cosplay girls and my sexual fetishes of asian girls and women with extremely big breasts my hormones just kick into overdrive.

So I just had to post the picture of the well - endowed Power Girl even though I had no idea who she was. Well, as coincidences would have it, just this week while preparing material for a few upcoming posts about SCOOBY - DOO´s underrated sexbomb Velma Dinkley ( and I know there is a part of my audience who is waiting for that since it will be more wall - to - wall sweater puppies than you can shake a Scrappy Doo at ) I found out that this girl is not only real but that her picture was not photoshopped.

As further proof I also found a video where she cosplays at a comic convention as Power Girl. Which is a few years old so I must have been living under a rock because I didn´t know of this girl.

As you can see by the title of the video her name is Sofia Sivan, she´s an american glamour model and while I couldn´t find her full measurements I did find out that her cup size clocks in at a whopping 36G which makes her predestined to cosplay as Power Girl. Besides DC´s superheroine with the biggest breasts she did plenty of other boner inducing cosplays that are guaranteed to pitch a tent in your pants like this one which I thought to be Astrid Lindgren´s famous feminist girl heroine Pippi Longstocking.

Which is not that far - fetched as it may sound. At least to people from Europe where Astrid Lindgren´s children´s books are standard literature in every public library and Pippi Longstocking is the most famous one of her many female heroines. So a cosplay of her would be instantly recognized.

Plus cosplayers love to do different takes on characters be it a female version of a male hero, a male version of a female heroine, an entirely new take on a character and adult versions of famous characters are not that uncommon. What´s more, it would make total sense for somebody who is an adult glamour model since it is part of their job to make phantasies come true ( at least as far as legally possible ) and who hasn´t thought about what his favorite childhood heroines would look like all grown up ?

There comes a time in every boy´s life when he slowly turns into a man and girls become more interesting than before. And it´s only natural to see things in a new light. So it´s only normal that one begins to see the heroines we know from childhood on with new eyes and imagine which kind of adventures they may have as adults or at least hot teenagers.

And with a name like Pippi Longstocking - which sounds almost like Titty Garterbelt - she would probably fit in better in a smutty pulp novel than a children´s book anyway. So what would be the plot of a movie with sexy Sofia Sivan as Pippi Longstocking who has grown up in all the right places ?

Maybe that she has to regain her incredible power. The movie would open with Pippi roughing up an entire biker gang when suddenly her powers fail her. Soon she is brutally overpowered by the gang and the horny perverts celebrate their victory with a gang bang weekend where they can finally vent all of their accumulated sexual frustration on poor Pippi. Thanks to her guile and wits Pippi manages to escape in the end but her incredible strength is gone. After consulting various lesbian doctors ( whom she has to pay in kind ) in vain a medicine ( played by Angie Griffin ) tells Pippi that to regain her power she must return to Taka - Tuka - Land ( which sounds like a made up euphemism for Sexual - Intercourse - Land if I´ve ever heard one ) and undergo the Bingo - Bongo ceremony with the priests of Mandingo, he - who - is - part - man - and - part - horse.

Well, if you have paid attention you have noticed that the pictures of Sofia Sivan are labeled as " Wendy " and indeed she is not cosplaying as Pippi Longstocking but as the embodiment of one of the best known fast food restaurant chains - at least in America. Here in Germany it´s not that well known so cut me some slack for assuming that it was somebody else.

Speaking of embodiment, that slight error on my part not withstanding Sofia Sivan´s cosplay is right down my alley and with her giant boobs, crazy body measurements, an ass that won´t quit and her long but muscular legs which she can spread better than a fillipino prostitute it seems to be taylor made for me. As far as the costume goes while the bikini that barely covers her massive melons and the long stockings are a nice touch the best part are the pigtails. You guys know what I´m talking about and there is a reason why the are also called " sex handlebars ".

If they were in the same class as Peter and Peter was in the same class as MJ then ergo they must have been in the same class as MJ. And they never noticed her ? And it´s not like she was the ugly duckling or anything. Plus, they weren´t very subtle about MJ´s effect on men. In AMAZING SPIDER - MAN 59 Mary Jane starts working at a club as a go - go dancer and Gwen Stacy´s Dad is one of the club goers and he really likes her " dancing " and comments that he can´s wait for her to " dance " again. In fact is was Mary Jane Watson shaking her moneymakers like there´s no Tomorrow who awakens Norman Osborn´s lust and thereby his resting Green Goblin persona in issue 96. So people outside of the school were aware of MJ´s sex appeal so you can be sure that everybody on campus wanted to dicktame this blow up sex doll.

Emanuelle movie which cemented Silvia Kristel´s reputation as the first queen of soft sex movies.
