Usually I don´t do another re - post if I have already done a new version the previous year but events in my personal life have reminded me that we never know how much time we have left on the planet and there are some things I have wanted to add to this post for a long time which I have postponed too many times. And to celebrate the occassion I have made a lot of new animated GIFs including some with birthday babe Tylene Buck.

We are taking a break from wrestling and sexbombs to return to the world of comic books and Cully Hamner who celebrates his 51st birthday. Now since he created the origin material for a blockbuster with Bruce Willis most people would probably write about that but I tell you forget Red.
Forget the other series he worked on like Black Lightning : Year One and I´m going as far as to say forget even the Blue Beetle series where Jaime Reyes first took up the mantle of Blue Beetle from fan favorite Ted Kord.
You know, the series I am always pimping. Because what you need to do is put all that stuff to the wayside, completely ignore it and get the Green Lantern : Mosaic series by Gerard Jones which was Cully Hamner´s first big break. The reason why I´m so adamant about this ( longtime readers may remember that I pimped the series back in 2006 ) is that THIS is the best Green Lantern comic - and for some the best comic PERIOD - you will read in your whole life. I mean, no offense to other writers like Geoff Johns but compared to this you can throw everything he has written in the bin.
This book was sociopolitical cutting edge before words like inclusiveness and representation became propaganda tools for SJW agendas. It explored how willing we are to co - exist with not only other minorities but also aliens and took an indepth look at the human condition. So far the series has not been been collected but that may be about to change now that we got hints of a John Stewart Green Lantern at the end of last year´s CW crossover Crisis On Infinite Earths. I am counting on DC´s greed here and the fact that there are not that many John Stewart stories in trade. Well, there is Cosmic Odyssey but that story is not JUST about John Stewart.

Since there are no full episodes from either the animated Bruce Timm series or the animated Green Lantern show from a few years back we are kicking - or better rungslinging - it old school with Today´s cartoon video.

Finding a music video for these wrestling themed posts is always difficult but since somebody once said that wrestling is fifty percent persevation and fifty percent transpiration I´m going with Everybody Dance Now ( Gonna Make You Sweat ) by C + C Music Factory. There are some negative comments because Zelma actually doesn´t sing in this song and the female artist you hear is Martha Washington from The Weather Girls best known for their smash hit It´s Raining Men. But come on, this was in the 1990s and there were a lot of pop groups where the people on stage or in the video did not sing themselves ( does anybody remember Milli Vanilli ? ). Also Martha did sue and won her case. Plus while some people say Zelma was just a pretty face ( as well as a great set of lips, tits, a perfect bubblebutt and legs up to her chin ) she proved that she really can sing in songs like Things That Make You Go Hmmm.
