As I already explained there were a lot of splash pages that I could not fit into the first part of this but which I still wanted to share with my readers as soon as possible. One of the reasons why I didn´t put them into the first part is the only 23 pictures in the main part rule. The other is that I didn´t want to have too many similar splash pages in one post. So the splash pages in this post were not left out because the others were better but to avoid redundancies. That said there are still a lot of splash pages I want to showcase and I am thinking of a special post all about the different logos for THE SPIRIT that Will Eisner used throughout the series as well as one about the use of written pages. So don´t fear, there will be still enough material from THE SPIRIT for next year´s Will Eisner tribute.
If I am still around at that time. Anyway, here is the next batch of splash pages and as I already mentioned in the first paragraph parts of the bonus section may seem familiar because it was copied here from my last post.
We continue on March the 5th with regularly recurring pop culture cutie Jolene Blalock who celebrated her 45th birthday. Coming back to Rena Riffel, I have to write a bit more about a spectacular skin flick classic, namely Greg Hyppolite´s sexsational squirt marathon Undercover Heat with the über bodacious Athena Massey who bares everything as the secretly sex starved undercover cop Cindy Hannen.
Even if the story is nothing new - a female cop has to go undercover as a callgirl to find a serial killer - Undercover Heat is one of the best erotic movies I have seen because it has the perfect blend of crime, suspense, erotic and humor that few directors of this genre achieve. It also has a nice pacing of five minutes of story development followed by five minutes of erotic scenes and so on. But the biggest reason why this movie is so entertaining is the stunning Athena Massey and her spectacular body.
The character Athena plays is a somewhat repressed woman who never had much time besides her police work to explore her sexuality but as she goes undercover she makes up for that in spades. The plan going in is that her superior will send her clients so she can keep her cover and give him regular status reports. But as they sometimes come too late - to their appointments that is not as in relayed ejaculation - the sex depraved bombshell is already busy sexperimenting with the other potent studs.
There is even a threesome with a client and his big breasted wife so this movie has it all. So this is my recommendation for the day and if you haven´t seen it yet you definitely have to check out Undercover Heat.

His litany of credits is deserving of its own MOVIE RUMMAGE TABLE post but you have seen him in Rambo : First Blood Part II although he is best known as Cobra Kai founder John Kreeve in the Karate Kid movies and the recent Cobra Kai tv show. As I said, I don´t have the time nor space to go into all of the roles he played but his comicbook related credits include the Incredible Hulk tv series, the Tales From The Crypt tv series and the Black Scorpion tv series ( for more on this check out our last post ).
Today is also the anniversary of the birth of cartoonist and good girl pin up artist Bill Ward and I wrote a post about his series TORCHY last year which also includes some of the celebrity anniversaries from March the 2nd up until Today. And I said some because I split up the anniversaries between that post and last year´s Will Eisner tribute . And there are a few more celebrity birthdays from Today in my Will Eisner appreciation post from 2018 and also in my second post about Will Eisner´s THE SPIRIT series .

I wanted to post it before but back then I could only find short clips from this so I am putting this on the blog and you should watch it before it gets deleted.
Today we really run the full gamut from pulp heroes to science fiction, undercover cops, strippers, martial arts, pin up artists, knights and magic flutes and anything in - between. I was looking for Martin Kove´s Steele Justice but since I could not find it here is Who Dares Wins with the late Lewis Collins. Today´s kids never heard of him but when I was a teenager he was in one of the coolest tv shows ever The Professionals alongside Gordon Jackson and Martin Shaw. As usual the show was censored in Germany beyond recognition as they cut the hour long episodes down to 45 minutes to fit better to the german tv schedule. Oh, the humanity !
After this movie double feature I want to include one last video about another favorite from my misspent youth : Buck Danny one of the greatest comics of all time that was featured in the german cult anthology Zack.
