Great Rao, it´s another Man of Tomorrow Thursday with José Luis García - López !

The upside of being six weeks behind with my posts is that I can make two posts for the same day when two comicbook artists I love share a birthday. In this case it´s Brian Bolland and José Luis García - López.

Well, not exactly a birthday since they were not born in the same year but the birth date so for the past years I either had to decide which of them would get a post or - if I decided to give both of them a post - which of them would get a post on their actual birth date and which one would get a belated birthday post. But as I said in my intro since I am so far behind with my posts I can give both of them a birthday post and then fix the date on the same date. So that I will have two posts on the same day.

Probably even more than two posts on that day since I don´t like to have two DC Comics - centric posts in a row so I will have to put a post about something completely different between them. Luckily there has been a lot of stuff I couldn´t put into my last ... oh, I don´t know ... 20 posts ? ... so there is more than enough material to choose from ( plus my backlog ) and in this case the most difficult thing is to decide what to post first.

Anyway, with this post I didn´t have that problem because even though I have a lot of original art by José Luis García - López from various series he worked on I already did kind of a Best Of post in 2018 and as longtime readers of the blog know I don´t like to repeat myself. Plus not without reason the title of this blog is TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN so I thought a post centered around the Man Of Steel would be appropriate. Especially since I found a few new pages of original art from Superman´s team up title DC COMICS PRESENTS. And because I don´t like to break up issues Today´s original art pages come from issues 3 and 4 of that book in which Superman teams up first with Adam Strange and then the Metal Men.

Since I couldn´t find a video about José Luis García - López issues of DC COMICS PRESENTS ( it has been a while since they came out ) here is one about ATARI FORCE which I guess was not only for me a guilty pleasure since there have been a lot of videos about this in the last few years.

What set this series apart from most comics trying to rip off STAR WARS was - besides the stellar art by José Luis García - López and later on Eduardo Baretto - the writing of Gerry Conway who turned what could have been one - dimensional characters into interesting heroes and the way the story unfolded you learned more about their backstory over the course of the series. Unlike most books where you got everything you needed to know about the main characters in the first issue this was my first encounter of non linear storytelling. Recently IDW reprinted the first four issue mini comic series with art by Ross Andru and Gil Kane but so far nothing has been announced about the second series. In any case those who want to check out this great series can easily find it in dollar bins.

There are no particular links for this post but there is something that I want to put on the blog as soon as possible that I think is especially entertaining for my german readers ( and anybody interested in the history of german comics like my good friend Terry Hooper - Scharf from the brilliant blog COMIC BITS ONLINE ) : Christoph Roos has put the entire first issue of his science fiction / fantasy saga SHAYAWAYA online . And not only that but he provides a lot of commentary not only about how he made the comic but also about the historical context in which it was created. So if you want to take a trip back to 1978 when the german independent comicbook scene was still in its infancy with one of its pioneers strap yourself in as Christoph discusses everything from science fiction to fantasy mythology, the exploration of dreams and identity itself.

Going through the list of Yesterday´s birthdays there is really only one I have to mention which is double D Cathy Dennis who turned 51. The british brabuster really put the pop in pop star and I wasn´t the only one who wanted to touch her well - endowed chest ( all night long ). After scoring 4 US top ten hits during her solo career the ravishing redhead went on to write songs for other artists like Toxic for Britney Spears, Can´t get you out of my head for Kylie Minogue and I kissed a girl for Katy Perry. I think this video is from Mtv´s The Beach Grind and one of these days when I really got a lot of time on my hands to prepare the material I have to do a proper post on Mtv´s The Grind and all the hot rumpshakers.

Coming to Today´s birthdays, the third anniversary from March the 26th is the great late Leonard Nimoy and while I haven´t read a lot of STAR TREK comics I did a special comic book cover tribute post for Spock in 2017 .

The Leonard Nimoy post has more birthdays from Today which I skipped to include Marlene Mourreau. Marlene is one of the few cult sirens who got her own CASTING THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA MOVIE post and I hope I can do an updated version of it on her birthday on the 19th next month. But just in case I can´t - and because I have a bit of breathing room in this post - I want to include some new stuff with her that I have prepared and I am just dying to post. And if everything goes well and I can do a re - post for Marlene there are a few more videos with her lined up.

Despite being french she has worked mostly on spanish tv either as a guest or host on various shows or with her x - rated dance numbers. As a fixture of spanish tv she also appears in the gala of Best of Telepassion.

In Spain there is not such a big stigma about women in the entertainment industry getting naked as in Germany ( in Spain it is almost expected at a certain level of success ) so all famous women have done nude pictures. I think Marlene Mourreau still looks pretty amazing and she has a better body then when she was much younger like 20 or 25 years old. This woman is like wine or good comic books - she gets better and better with age.

As for Marlene´s solo performances those took mainly place on spanish tv after midnight which had a lot to do with the fact that she didn´t wear much clothes to begin with and got rid of the little she did wear very quickly. The pornographic appearances of the french blow up sex doll were always so sexually charged and her stage outfits so skimpy that she almost got banned from spanish tv. And everyone who has seen the heavily sexual content they show on spanish tv knows that it takes a lot to get banned.

Now a few weeks ago - while looking for episodes of Que Apostamos ?`with Ana Obregon - I also came across some episodes of El Semaforo ( the traffic light ) which was kind of a talent show and it was one of Marlene Mourreau´s first gigs. After going through all the shows I could find I am including what is - at least in my opinion - the best of the bunch.

Marlene is wearing the definition of a Fuck Me - dress and there was only one instance where Marlene was wearing an even sexier dress. At least that I am aware of. Remember that I was only in Spain during the summer so I have no idea what her wardrobe looked like for the rest of the year.

Anyway, the one dress that I saw and which looked even hotter than the one she is sporting in this episode of El Semaforo was on an episode of the comedy sketch show No Veas and it had even less fabric than this one.

The back cleavage was so deep that you could see the beginning of her butt crack and from the side you could see the top part of her buttocks.

But the breast feature from the side were her rack - tastic funbags since the dress was cut in such a way that her nipples were completely covered but aside from that you could see the full contour of her supple breasts every time she was filmed from the side. Which was a lot ! So throughout the show Marlene was showing almost her complete sideboob ! Sadly I haven´t found any clips from that perticular show and there are not that many videos from No Veas with Marlene Mourreau on YouTube anyway.

Coming back to Today´s episode of El Semaforo this dress covers up more although because the fabric is very thin it doesn´t really leave anything to the imagination as you can clearly see every inch of her spectacular body and her hard nipples are poking through. I am not sure if she is even wearing any underwear beneath it. She is not completely naked but it´s the next best thing as she is wearing a bit more than drapes. No wonder this candidate is completely distracted by this ultimate blow up sex doll.

He is trying to tell his story but he constantly keeps peeking at Marlene´s perfect puppies and gets so excited that he grabs Marlene to demonstrate the climax of his tale - no pun intended. And he´s not the only one whom Marlene gets excited, none of the candidates can keep the hands off her.

The second reason why I think that this is the best episode of El Semaforo is that Marlene Mourreau does an incredible song and dance number that shows that she didn´t choose her stage name at random.

Here is the full show which first aired on the 8th of December in 1995.

We are staying with spanish tv and an episode of Ultrasiete. And for those who think that I am a walking pop culture encyclopedia I had to google this one. Ultra Seven is a japanese tv series that is the third installment of the Ultra Series which all sprang out of the success of Ultraman. The series follows the adventures of the Terrestial Defense Force´s elite Ultra Garrison composed of six members who are joined by the mysterious Dan Moroboshi who is secretly an alien from the Land of Light in Nebula M - 78 and transforms into his true alien form - Ultraseven - in times of crisis.

Originally I wanted to post a spanish episode of Speed Racer ( who for some strange reason was called Meteoro in Spain ) but the video quality was just too bad so here is the first episode in the original US version.

Coming back to the topic of our post we are going full on Superman for the rest of the entertainment section starting with The Amazing Story of Superman, a documentary that apparently was made right after Superman Returns hit cinemas. Brandon Routh took a huge beating for that one but he has since redeemed himself as the Atom and Kingdom Come Superman was one of the best things ever in the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover.

Speaking of alternate versions of Superman I have actually read a recent comic with the Man of Steel which may shock some of my regular readers.

I haven´t watched this video since I am only halfway through Doomsday Clock. Because this is a series I am reading in hardcover and so far only the first one has come out. Anyway, while I have only read the first part of the story I have already found a giant flaw ( besides the obvious one ). It takes place in a darker and more gritty version of the DC universe which has been altered by the machinations of Doctor Manhattan and if I hadn´t read the synopsis in the dust jacket I would not have known this. Because after so may flashpoints, new 52s and rebirths I have no idea what the current status of the DC universe is anymore. It seems that every story I read is an Elseworlds story so the whole " Oh woe is me, what a dark and sinister turn has taken the DC universe. " schtick does not work for me.

It´s been a while since I posted a video with the rack - tastic Angie Griffin who is one of the few females on the planet who can give hasian cosplay blow up sex doll Yaya Han and her huge 40D porn implants a run for her money with her giant - sized ( and all natural !!! ) 41E double airbags.

Daimn, no disrespect to Scarlett Johansson but Angie is my choice for Black Widow and I bet her huge melons would turn Bucky into Fucky.

We are coming from good cosplay to bad cosplay because how else are you going to describe the turkish Superman rip - off ? You survived Superman III, Superman IV - The Quest For Peace and even the awful Man Of Steel and Batman v Superman : Dawn Of Justice ? Well, get ready for what can only be topped by Suicide Squad as the worst DC movie of all times.

Closing out Today´s ( third ) post is a funny video that shows that Adrian Monk was not only right but he was ahead of his time. I need a wipe !

New to the blog ? Everything you need to know about TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN : top ten posts / more posts of interest / best of the best
