Starting the new month with Arthur Adams

With these art heavy posts you never know if they are still interesting for the readers but as always I checked my previous posts to see if there is anything I already posted. And as it turns out I only did one special post for Arthur Adams last year and the rest of his artwork is scattered all over the blog. So once again here is another tribute post for his 55th birthday.

Now as always, I tried to include the color versions to the original artwork but like I said in my last Arthur Adams post a lot of these are commissions so there often is no color version. Another case that is problematic is issue 28 of THE AUTHORITY because it was censored and I could only find the original artwork for the first version but not for the revised page. So I was a bit conflicted if I should post the first draft next to the final version or the page how it should´ve been or how it´s really supposed to be read.

Because in the first draft some things are only implied but if you mix up the panels from the different versions you get what they really wanted to put in the comic but knew they couldn´t. Anyway, in the end I decided to include the original art for the first draft and the color version of the printed page and if you want to know more about all the instances THE AUTHORITY was censored check out Julian Darius´ post on SEQUEART .

Speaking of sexual content in comics drawn by Arthur Adams, one of my favorite series by him is JONNI FUTURE and while I usually don´t have the kind of disposable income to spring for one of these artist´s editions I am sorely tempted to make an exception for AMERICA´S BEST COMICS since the Arthur Adams pages alone are worth the price of admission. I´m still disappointed that Arthur Adams did not get free reign on JONNI FUTURE to draw full on porn since the stories were written for the adult market.

I have mentioned this once or twice on the blog and put the blame on Alan Moore but I completely forgot that the stories were written by the late Steve Moore ( not a relative ) and since you don´t speak ill of the dead it´s best to let it rest. It´s one of the big missed opportunities in comic books but at this point it´s all water under the bridge anyway.

One last thing before we come to this year´s selection of Arthur Adams Airwolf - ness : I tried to be representative of all the stuff he did over the past decades but since that is impossible I stuck to personal favorites. So this is highly subjective and you won´t see much of his recent work for Marvel because as brilliant as he still is I wish he did some interiors once in a while and I have a hard time getting excited for anything they publish. 

Because I had to do some research there are a few websites I have to mention starting with MARVEL COMICS OF THE 1980s which is where I found the Classic X - Men commission I used in this post. As the name implies they are the go - to guys when it comes to Marvel comics´ best decade and I don´t know how many times I have already linked to them.

No matter how often you visit the website there is always new stuff to find like a post with Arthur Adams´ cover for Marvel Age Annual 4 that includes a Wolverine story and speaking of covers, there´s an homage to Jack Kirby´s cover for Fantastic Four 82 by Arthur Adams on GIANT - SIZE MARVEL . Last but not least for all who completely missed Tom Strong´s Terrific Tales you can see more Jonni Future pages on SCANS DAILY .

There are some posts I never seem to get around to do and one of those that always seems to get postponed is my Top Ten Black Canary cosplay post so until I can write it check out the Black Canary website FLOWERS & FISHNETS where you can find all kind of neat articles like the origin of black Canary ,  issue 1 of her first solo series and a Black Canary story by Alex Toth published in Adventure Comics 418 and Adventure Comics 419 .

Before we come to the choice celebrity anniversaries of the day I have to mention two I missed. The first one is one of my favorite asian porn stars, deepthroat addict Miko " So Horny Love You Long Time " Lee a. k. a. the human suction pump who celebrated her 41st birthday on March the 30th.

The former fluffer for emergency cases who allegedly sucked dozens of gay porn actors back to heterosexuality is no strangers to frequent visitors of the blog because besides being included in two posts of my Casting the Justice League of America series I kept mentioning her so often in posts about other hasian sexbombs like Akira Lane , 55KK babe Minka or cosplay queen Yaya Han that Miko Lee finally got her own cult siren entry in 2016 .

One reason why Miko Lee kept popping up in the posts about Yaya Han is that I needed a body double for Yaya´s more explicit scenes I had in mind.

Which is not ideal since Yaya Han has a 40D bust and Miko Lee is nowhere near in that league. Thankfully it looks like hasian talk show host Jeannie Mai is auditioning for the part and while she also is a bit smaller than Yaya in the chest area she does have an impressive skill set. I am convinced. 

Coming back to Miko Lee as Yaya Han´s body double you might have seen her in that function in a few of the banners I like to put at the end of my posts and she will also be featured in my posts about comic covers / splash pages / comic moments I´d love to see Yaya Han re - enact. Because with all the pictures I have of her I never seem to find one that fits my needs. 

I am still undecided if I should really start this new series. Because apart from the fact that I don´t have enough time to continue with the series I already have going on the blog at this point the longer it takes the more I question myself if it still makes sense. Which is in part because Yaya has already portrayed a number of my favorite pop culture heroines like Chun Li, Jessica Rabbit, Power Girl or the Scarlet Witch. For the last one she even made two different costumes so with one of my favorite Avengers covers by John Buscema - Avengers 81 - she has done the costume part. I still would love to have a picture of that cover with Yaya Han as Scarlet Witch that´s an exact re - creation. That would be one of my Holy Grails.

And with that we are on the other side of the argument because in most cases Yaya Han has done at least something similar. But here it is the combination that matters. For instance Yaya has already cosplayed as a sexy nurse where she showed off her sexy legs ( to which we will come back in a moment ) and she also has worn skintight short bodysuits with so much cleavage that not much is left to the imagination. The thing now is just to bring all of these components together and add a bit of butt cleavage to re - create one of my favorite Edika covers from U - COMIX.

Now while it might take some time to reach a decision on that what I am planning to do in the near future is a special post about Yaya Han´s legs.

If only one good thing came from all this soul searching and looking for the right pictures of Yaya it´s I realized that I have focused too much on her breasts and not paid too much attention to her lower body. Maybe it´s because I chose a lot of costumes where you could not see much of Yaya Han´s legs for my upcoming Top 10 Yaya Han costumes post. Or maybe the latest cosplays don´t put them to the forefront. But while going through the pictures I noticed that you can see a lot of Yaya Han´s legs in them and boy, that woman has a set of gams I could lick up and down for days.

Speaking of which, while I don´t know if I will ever get a chance to lick her up and down one of the biggest MILFs on italian tv turned 53 on the first of April and I´m sure longtime readers of the blog were already missing the annual re - posts of italian mega soccer MILF Simona Ventura .

Especially since one of her posts used to be my go - to link for anything about Tutti Frutti. But that part of the Simona Ventura post got too long and I had to give it a post of its own which I re - posted in 2016 in a new and better version . I just love wikipedia because I have never heard it be described anywhere else as a soft - porn tits - out show but I guess it was.

When I started to read american comics the DC universe was brand new thanks to the Crisis on Infinite Earths fallout and I grabbed all the series I didn´t know which included the two fisted combo of Justice League by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire and Justice League Europe also by Giffen and Matteis, art by Bart Sears and inks by Pablo Marcos whom I knew from his work on Defenders. I don´t know if it was fate but the very first issue of Justice League Europe I got was issue 4 in which Power Girl, Flash and Animal Man share a hotel room as they go to Bialya on an undercover mission. I re - read the issue a few times and I always wondered if these more human - and more horny in the case of Flash - heroes didn´t spend the dull waiting time in a more adult way.

For me Bart Sear´s version is still the definite version of Power Girl and now that DC is back - paddling with their Rebirth initiative and restoring many things I am of course curious to find out what that means for Power Girl. As far as I know she has not yet appeared in the all new DC universe continuity so there might be a return to her former glory in store for her.

Speaking about the best Power Girl of all times in Justice League Europe, in 2016 I finally managed to do another post about Darick Robertson in which I mentioned the BREAKDOWNS storyline that introduced Power Girl´s famous coconut bra costume. And Ijust want to say that I still have not given up on a Yaya Han Power Girl coconut bra cosplay ( with the tiniest coconut shells you can find although compared to her huge 40D oppai all coconut shells probably look small no matter how big they are ) as she has already shown that she does a terrific Power Girl cosplay and she certainly has no problem filling out the magical cleavage window.

So far I have made five posts on Yaya - two of them are pretty safe but the other three are absolutely not safe for work - and I keep mentioning her on various JLA casting posts and any other posts involving asian sexbombs like Kiana Tom, Ava Cadell, Akira Lane, Miko Lee, Gail Kim or Minka and I swear the completely NSFW BIG YAYA HAN POST is still in the pipeline.

Longtime readers may be already tired of this but it seems that nowadays I can´t write a new post without mentioning hot sexbomb Becky Mullen .

Besides appearing as Sally, the farmer´s daughter on the first season of Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling and various guest appearances on every major tv show ( of which her most memorable is an episode of Married with Children opposite Pamela Anderson - see GIF above ) Becky starred in various erotic midnight movies including Sinful Intrigue. With all that said german audiences know her best from taking her clothes off on Tutti Frutti . Her biggest contribution to american culture however is Hard Hunted and there are two other actresses from Andy Sidaris movies who appeared on Tutti Frutti , Sandra Wild and Carolyn Liu. Andy was probably THE BEST director of action movies for adults. And his cast read like a WHOS´S WHO of playmates : Roberta Vasquez , Ava Cadell , brunette Cynthia Brimhall, Dona Speir , Pandora Peaks, Julie Strain , Shae Marks, Samantha Phillips and Julie K. Smith to name just a few of them.

Becky Mullen´s post is a spin - off that used to be in one post with Janet Jones Gretzky , best known for appearing in a white swimsuit in Police Academy 5 - Assignment Miami Beach and real live Power Girl Leslie Easterbrook who had the most famous scene in Police Academy 4 - Citizens on Patrol in which she emerges from a pool in a wet t - shirt .

Now the attentive reader may have noticed that I wrote about the choice celebrity anniversaries of the day and the reason why I specifically chose that phrase is that since I already did a post on Arthur Adams birthday last year I can skip those I already covered. So unless there is something new to add this is new stuff. Case in point : french sexbomb Vanessa Demouy who turns 45 and whom I last mentioned in 2015 in the first part of my Casting the Justice League of America movie series where I cast her as french superheroine Silver Fox. Despite being on two shows that ran on german tv for a long time her part in that post was very short because I didn´t have much material on her and not much has changed. The first tv show in which she appeared was called Dance Academy in Germany but the original title might have been another. And looking for it is hopeless as there are dozens of show with that title. I´d like to watch it again not only for Vanessa but also for Severine Ferrer who plays her little sister.

Who was not that little since her booming body was busting out and her perky boobs were already stretching out all her t - shirts to the utter delight of all the male viewers utter delight but especially her male co stars who started to constantly drool all over her teenage hardbody. I remember vividly that she did get more and more scenes of jumping up and down later in the series as her tits had grown to that perfect size where they are already big enough to jump but not that big that they start to sag and so she provided a lot of bouncing action on the show.

Anyway, the second show with Vanessa Demouy was called Models In Paradise in Germany - I think the show Murder In Paradise was a big hit at that time - but apparently the french title is different. Speaking of hot sexbombs who earn their money in swimwear, a cult siren I have mentioned in a few posts is Krista Allen who celebrates her 46th birthday. The bodacious brunette played Clark Kent´s hot new teacher on SMALLVILLE, Jim Carey´s new neighbor with the big boobs in LIAR LIAR and the sexy oracle on CHARMED ( she was also in a series called Black Widow which had nothing to do with the Marvel character ) but she is probably best known for her role of Jenna Avid on BAYWATCH HAWAII.


Now my readers outside of Germany probably don´t know what BAYWATCH HAWAII is and for the longest time I thought it was a BAYWATCH spin off.

Like BAYWATCH NIGHTS. So I was very surprised when I went looking on amazon for that and couldn´t find it. That´s because in Germany they titled seasons 10 and 11 of the regular show BAYWATCH HAWAII which exists nowhere else. Only in Germany there is a BAYWATCH HAWAII. I do not know if they felt the need to give it an extra push because they exchanged the whole cast and relocated to Hawaii or they thought the german viewers would be too confused. In any case it was a weird thing.

BAYWATCH was really big in the 90s and it is like THE ultimate babe tv show. No kidding. No other show had more actresses who were featured in Playboy or playmates. If there was a hot babe during the time the show was produced you can bet that she´s in - at least - one of the episodes.

You can say what you about David Hasselhoff but he sure has an eye for hot sexbombs and he is my hero for putting them on tv. So it´s no wonder that Krista Allen was added to the Who´s Who of male fantasies that was going through the revolving door on that show like Pamela Anderson, Carmen Elektra, Tracy Bingham, Teri Weigel, Jenny Mc Carthy, Jasmine Bleeth, Donna D´Erico, Kelly Monaco, Brande Roderick, Stacy Kamano, Nicole Eggert, Mitzi Capture, Gina Lee Nolin and Erika Eleniak before her.

As she did it when her body was in prime condition she was able to believable portray the sex machine with the high moan factor who merciless milks men until they can´t remember on which side the doorknob is. The show had some strange 3D effects - because that was the new thing at that time - and the stories were not that great but it was all worth it to see Miss Allen get her freak on. Whoa, did she ever.

Here it was shown on PRO7 but so far I haven´t seen the DVDs anywhere. Maybe I´ll have to buy them in Spain. So here´s to Krista Allen, many happy returns and thanks for the mammaries. And if you haven´t seen them do yourself a favor and hunt down those Emmanuelle tv movies.



From hot bikini babes we come to .... well, it´s still about bikini babes even though the next part should be about wrestling because the Nitro Girls appeared in a pay per view swimsuit special. The thing is that I wrote a very short but witty - and hilariously funny - paragraph about our next celebrity birthday candidate Diamond Dallas Page who turns 62. But as always just when I was about to send it my browser crashed ( I blane Avira for this ) so all I´m going to say is that like always when I get one of the few chances to write about wrestling it got too long so I decided to do another of my ever so popular spin - off posts. To people from my generation I don´t have to explain Agneta Fältskog as one of the founding members of pop cult band ABBA celebrates her 68th birthday. But I think the younger people know the musical first before they discover the band and its music. Usually I would have to look for a video but thanks to the research I did for italian cult siren Sabrina Salerno I bookmarked a few episodes of Musikladen where ABBA was a frequent guest. The one I picked opens with Mama Mia and closes with Fernando. 



Since I wrote about her a lot in this post it is only fitting that I include the newest Yaya Han video in this post. This is a costume that is not on my list of best costumes for Yaya Han because there is not much of a costume here but it would be on my top ten sexiest cosplays by Yaya Han list. Man, this is another costume that wasn´t on my radar so maybe I´m getting old. Yaya Han´s part in the video is very short but I think it´s the best part.

Wow, whenever I think that all my ideas of cover recreations with Yaya are completely unrealistic something like this emerges that surpasses my most perverted phantasies and shows why she´s the undisputed cosplay queen.



There is not much comic related content in Today´s post addendum but I don´t have a video that fits the topic and I don´t want to include a random one from my bookmarks just for the sake of having one in the post. However I want to close with something for the readers that skip all my videos with hot babes. Robot Carnival may not be familiar to some of my readers but it´s an anime cult classic. The anthology of short stories was compiled at the zenith of 80s anime and each of the nine segments was produced by a different master animator. Except for two shorts none of them had dialogue which made the worldwide distribution of it easier.

I know that Today computer and 3D animation is all the rage but I prefer hand made movies that show how much you can do without a computer and that the most important tool of creative people is their imagination.

Diamond Dallas Page and the Nitro Girls

It seems that I have much more to say about this topic than I thought so I decided to spin it off from the main post and if you want to see a lot of cool Arthur Adams art click on this link . But here it´s all about wrestling as one of Today´s birthday celebrities is Diamond Dallas Page who turns 62.

Diamond Dallas Page was the first wrestler - at least that I became aware of - who realized what would become a trend later namely that no matter how good you are as a wrestler the most important thing you need is a good finishing move. There were other wrestlers like Tito Santana who may have been better wrestlers but his finisher El Paso De Muerte was a high risk maneuver and more often than not failed. A few times it even put him out of commission. So the diamond cutter became Diamond Dallas Page´s calling card and I remember that at his peak he had perfected the 101 ways to apply it. He even once put it on an opponent in mid flight.

But as much as Diamond Dallas Page was entertaining in the squared circle the real reason why I am writing about this is of course his accompanying piece of eye candy and her association to the best idea in wrestling.

Now this was waaay back ( god, I´m dating myself here ) when Eric Bischoff was the boss of the WCW the competition to Vince McMahon´s WWE. They were competing on all levels and to get more viewers Eric Bischoff came up with the idea of the Nitro Girls a dancing group of hot girls ( like on most spanish tv shows I know there are dancers ) some of them even became wrestlers afterwards. It should be no surprise that my favorite was asian dancer Chae An who was notorious for her nippleslips.

At least on german tv, I don´t know if it was scrambled in Amerika.

But the hottest Nitro Girl was the leader of the group : Kimberly started out as Diamond Doll, the hot DD chick in the corner of Diamond Dallas Page who distracted his opponent or the judge - whatever was more important. She later married Diamond Dallas Page and it is not known if she was the inspiration for the diamond cutter signature finishing move.

For a time the Nitro Girls were quite popular and there even was a Pay Per View NIRO GIRLS SWIMSUIT CALENDAR SPECIAL which is hard to find.

It featured the regular roster but like a lot of videos to come the most part was the making of or interviews and you just got bits and pieces.

Although with Kimberly even these short clips were totally worth it.

Like the roster of the Legion of Super - Heroes or the Avengers for those who are more familiar with mainstream super heroes the Nitro Girl´s roster kept changing. I think this is the first incarnation with the busty Whisper.

Which you can´t see because for some reason they put her in the back so she is almost completely hidden. At least my girl Chae is front and center.

I did some research on Whisper and her name is Rebecca M. Currci. I could not find any good pictures but Whisper was my second favorite Nitro Girl which may have had something to do with her mouth watering 38DD mega melons. But it seems that I was not the only one who fell to her womanly charms because she married Shawn Michaels and I´m sure she used him as her boy sex toy. They are still married and have two kids. Now I don´t know if her marriage is the reason why she is not on the next picture but it must be later in the Nitro Girl´s history since Tayo is already a member.

Tayo Reed was my number 3 Nitro Girl and what she had in common with Chae is that they both have been cheerleaders. But while  Chae had been a cheerleader for three years before becoming a Nitro Girl Tayo started her cheerleading career after leaving wrestling behind. And Tayo was not only a cheerleader for the Atlanta Falcons but also a dancer for the Atlanta Hawks and the fact that both teams are named for birds would be a perfect set up for a dirty punchline if I was writing this post in german. 

Tayo also opened her own dance studio Tayo Reed´s International Studio of Dance and you can get the complete intel on Whatever Happened To The Nitro Girls on RING THE DAMN BELL . We come to the videos and I chose the first two to showcase Chae. Born in Seoul, South Korea she was not only one of the most exotic and therefore most popular Nitro Girls unlike Kimberly who had her 36Ds enhanced Chae An´s 36C oppai are all natural. Man, what I would have given for a fourway penetration vacation with her Whisper and Tayo ( maybe with Kimberly thrown into the mix in the sudden death bonus round ) but I guess I missed my chance and some other lucky guy snatched her away and she´s now married with three kids.




What I somehow missed - maybe it fell into the dark ages when no tv station broadcasted wrestling in Germany - is the Nitro Girl Search. Luckily you can find all the episodes on YouTube but I´m not going to include all of them here. What I just had to include is week 3 because of the incredible nubian sex goddes on the right wearing the red sweater, Keisha Simpson.

 
Daimn, just look at that perfect body ! With those firm breasts, the trim stomach, those long legs and those hips it´s like she was born to be a centerfold plus she has the booty. And that smile, she knows she´s fine.

Now if I had been the one who makes the decisions this would have been the end of the Nitro Girl Search right there and then because with Keisha Simpson it´s just She´s perfect ! Game Over ! Like they say in my favorite episode of Sledge Hammer : she will be a mistress AND a wife. Alas, it was not to be because somebody else would become the new Nitro Girl.



Yes, Stacy Keibler would become the new Nitro Girl and looking back with the knowledge that she was not a Nitro Girl for very long and ultimately became a diva I must say that they could have done that without taking that away from Keisha. A missed opportunity of historic proportions. And is it just me or does Kimberly look extra fine in that shiny silver outfit ?



Although not as fine as in this blue outfit. When I see Kimberly all slutted out I have no doubt in my mind why she was constantly nude in PLAYBOY.

Now I don´t know if that was really the finale of the Nitro Girl Search or not, all I know is that it is the last episode that you can find on YouTube.

By the way, for some odd reason all the videos with sexbombs I like are of very low quality. Maybe they are really spying on everybody all the time.



Speaking of low quality I was looking for a specific clip with Kimberly Page as the Diamond Doll but even though there are now a lot more episodes of german cult wrestling show Catch Up ! on YouTube I couldn´t find it. In one of the episodes Horst Brack was injured and somebody else was co - hosting with Joe Williams - maybe Rene Lassartesse ? - and Kimberly was wearing a black dress that emphasized her breast assets in such a way that even the new co - host who normally didn´t comment on these kind of things could not help it and blurted out : " Was für eine Oberweite ! ".

Instead here is a match against Terry Taylor where Kimberly is wearing a similar black dress and as it could not be any other way the quality of the video is very low. Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly use every trick in the book here from Dallas Page hiding behind Kimberly only to suddenly strike against the opponent to a quick tactical retreat at the end of the match.



This video is just a teensy bit better in quality than the previous one but like I said, I could not find the episode of Catch Up ! I was looking for and I wanted to include at least one full wrestling show. Here we not only get to see Diamond Dallas Page with Kimberly at ringside but also Madusa, Big Poppa Pump with his sex freaks and a bevy of fine NWO bitches including sexbomb extraordinaire Tylene Buck who is wearing a red bodysuit that is so skintight that you wonder if they just poured it on her perfect body.



Should it concern me that the videos when Kimberly turned heel are of better quality then the ones where she is still together with DDP ?



They came up with a storyline during which Kimberly went over to Eric Bischoff´s side and it was all about her and her career now. She even called herself KimberMe and wanted a divorce from DDP ( life imitated art here - or at least wrestling - as they divorced in real life five years later although under less dramatic circumstances ). They went the whole nine yards with stuff where KimberMe was getting rid of all his old stuff that was still in the house. That´s the nightmare of every comic collector. Your better half is getting divorced and she is ripping up all your comic books.

Anyway, I don´t know if that was such a wise decision because afterwards the height of Kimberly´s career on celluloid was her nipple slip in 40 Year Old Virgin. On the other side Diamond Dallas Page went into retirement after that so maybe it was the right time to get out of the wrestling business. As frequent readers of the blog know I am not up to date with wrestling since I can´t watch the crap the WWE is doing right now but I know that DDP was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame and that he was active again. His career spanned two decades which were the best decades in wrestling so he was a companion for a big part of my life.
