Seeing as it has been over 15 months since my last THORSDAY WITH RON FRENZ post you might think I would pick up where I left off or at least continue with the further sex adventures of interstellar space faring squirt sensation Stellaris on planet earth but as you can see from the title I decided to go in a slightly different direction for Today's post.
As regular blog readers know Ron Frenz is one of the few artists I follow on facebook so that over time a lot of original art accumulates that I don't get to post. And since these original art pieces are too good to let them go to waste I have decided to put the best of them into a post.
Now while this is a BLACK AND WHITE post it is quite different than other posts from this series since in most cases these original art pieces have never seen print so there is no coloured version to go with it. There are one or two exceptions but for the most part there is only the original art. Quite a few pieces in this post are recreations of famous covers and in that case I have added the original cover even if they don't line up.
This includes the following take on Jack Kirby's cover for issue 126 of THE MIGHTY THOR and don't worry, I know that there are much more versions of this out there but if I included all of them that would make this post way too long. But anybody who wants to see more of these homage covers can just check out my old DEJA VUE post from 2017 .
