Double Dee Donnerstag with Hugh Hefner

Originally I just wanted to do a short mention of the anniversary of Hugh Hefner´s birth in the bonus section of my spotlight on the Goblin Queen for X - MEN MONTH but then I decided that a man who not only changed my life for the better or the lives of entire generations of men - and women - around the globe but improved humanity itself deserves better.

Now I won´t list all of the women who have been in the pages of PLAYBOY magazine ( in the original publications as well as in the foreign editions - at least to the best of my knowledge ) because there are already enough websites dedicated to that. Instead I am listing the ones I have featured on the blog which I have been writing over the last sixteen years with some links where to find them since 1,165 posts are a lot to go through.

Also I am not going to list them alphabetically but according to their date of birth including their measurements when available. And since this will be a resource for myself a well as my readers I will not only list playmates but every sexy female celebrity that has been in the pages of PLAYBOY.

Now this will not be a complete list since I spent the last two days going through all my old posts up and only managed to make it to the middle of 2017. It´s more of a Best Of The Breast and as always it´s completely random and subjective. Which means I will favor personal favorites and might skip some others. And if I have forgotten somebody drop me an e - mail. As always things got a longer than expected so I will probably need more than one post. With that said let´s start and see how far we can go.

We are off to a great start on January the 1st with wrestling sexbomb Kimberly Page ( who often gets mixed up with Playmate Of The Month in May 1987 Kymberly Paige whose birthday is either also on January the 1st or April the 6th ). In the end all we have Today are fond memories of Ms Edmondson´s great pictorials and she hasn´t done bad for herself as she took a job as a tax accountant after the whole scandal where she met her husband with whom she has three kids. The best revenge is a life lived to its fullest.

Also born on February the 1st but in 1974 we have Lisa Marie Scott.

This professional ballet dancer of japanese descent became Playmate Of The Month in February 1995 and was the first playmate to be featured on the PLAYBOY website. She also pursued a film career and you might have seen her in Friends, Baywatch Nights, Married With Children, Playboy videos or midnight classics Ringer with Shannon Whirry or The Corporate Ladder with Ben Cross, Talisa Soto, Meilani Paul and Kathleen Kinmont .

Movie Special : Better the Davi you know

We are staying with Hollywood and actresses born for porn as Robert Davi, who played Franz Sanchez in License To Kill celebrates his 68th birthday.

Franz Sanchez is kind of a weird Bond villain name in my opinion. You got a german first name - because we all know germans make the best villains - and then a little bit of spanish or mexican with the last name. As if the writers wanted to check all the people America doesn´t trust. Almost like Donald Trump´s personal nightmare. Licence To Kill was Timothy Dalton´s second and final James Bond movie and I feel it is a bit underappreciated.

It has one of the best stories of all the Bond movies and you get to see a James Bond who doesn´t play around. Timothy Dalton plays one heck of an avenging angel, Carey Lowell and Talisa Soto do more than just provide eye candy and with such heavyweights like Robert Davi ( who is almost wasted as a mere Bond villain ) and Benicio Del Toro rounding up the cast it´s great entertainment. They even had to cut various scenes to get a 15 release rating which alone should show you how hardcore this film is.

Robert has been in a plethora of movies and tv series from The Fall Guy to The Incredible Hulk to The Goonies, Raw Deal, Action Jackson, Die Hard and Predator 2. There also was a movie - I don´t remember the title - where he basically played the guy from Renegade : he was an ex - cop who was always unshaven and wore sunglasses and a long trenchcoat. He also had a motorbike but unlike Lorenzo Lamas he made the guy cool. I guess the only reason to watch Renegade was Lorenzo´s wife Kathleen Kinmont who could have made a fortune as a stripper with a hardbody like that .

Speaking of  stripper hardbodies, Robert Davi was also on Showgirls with Elizabeth Berkley where he played the sleazy owner of the Cheetah club.

Besides her part of Nomi Malone on Showgirls Elizabeth Berkley is also famous as Jessie Spano on Saved By The Bell and she was the student body every red blooded male wanted to tap. Sadly I didn´t watch many episodes of the show even if both she and her co - star Tiffany Amber Thiessen developed into supersexy bombshells. Those directors got it made, they just go " Okay guys, in the next four episodes Tiffani dresses up as a prostitute. And she has to do at least one striptease and two nude sex scenes in each episode. Which is really necessary for her character. Oh yeah, and send her to my trailer for .... extreme rehearsal. We have to go over the scene ... orally. " Those horny perverts are to thank for that Tiffany was so often in bikinis on that show.

Speaking about hookers, besides appearing on Beverly Hills 90210 Tiffani also was on Saved by the Bell with Elizabeth Berkley who revealed her real stripper nature in Showgirls. The movie was called a flop when it first came out but in the meantime it has become a cult classic mainly based on Elizabeth´s stripper moves which left me no other chance than cast her as one of my alternate choices for the Nympho Supergirl from Earth XXX in my second alternatives post for casting the Justice League movie .

While I try to make this blog for as many people as possible there are some parts that are only for a small part of my audience. Like my amazon bargain bin tips which are only of interest for my german readers and which very often expire very quickly - sometimes even before I have finished with writing the post. Nevertheless with the high prices we pay for comicbooks nowadays I like to include them as often as possible. Because why pay more than you have to ? Anyway, Today´s recommendation is for an even smaller part of the audience because it´s not for all of my german readers.

It´s not even for all my readers in Baden - Württemberg or in Stuttgart.

No, Today´s recommendation is for those readers that live in the vicinity of Ludwigsburg. It may be available in other cities but so far I have only seen them there. Anyway, I don´t write very often about audio dramas but longtime readers may remember my posts about the german horror novel series JOHN SINCLAIR. It´s one of Germany´s longest running novel series and one I have read for most of my school years. Well, I have also mentioned the excellent JOHN SINCLAIR audio dramas in some of these posts. It´s not that often I get to write about audio dramas so I wanted to use the opportunity to write about something new in the JOHN SINCLAIR universe : SINCLAIR ACADEMY. At least I think it is new, As usual I might be late to the party and everybody might know about these except for me.

It´s a series of .... well, not really audio dramas. In the description it says reading with sound effects and music because it is only one guy reading everything and doing the voices and in an audio drama you have various persons reading. Anyway, while these are not real audio dramas it is quite entertaining. So what is SINCLAIR ACADEMY ? First of all, it´s not written by Jason Dark so if you are a hardcore fan of Jason Dark you might skip this. The stories are about a new task force of four young trainees under the tutelage of John Sinclair and Scotland Yard who are the next crime fighters specifically selected to battle devils, demons and the forces of the underworld. The stories are really entertaining and each story is about two and a half hours long. Now the reason why I am writing about this at all is that you can find a lot of them in one Euro shops around Ludwigsburg at the moment. So far I have bought six of them and while they are not as good as the proper JOHN SINCLAIR audio dramas you really can´t complain for the price of 1 Euro per double CD. So if you live in Ludwigsburg and see some of them in a 1 Euro shop you might want to give them a try.



Although the SINCLAIR ACADEMY video is kind of an audio one I wanted to include a music video and after going through a lot of my bookmarks I settled for Alex Gaudino´s Destination Calabria featuring Crystal Waters.



Even though we already have the movie category covered I wanted to include the trailer for one of these comicbook adaptions you never hear about. At least I never heard of The Adventures of Spirou & Fantasio and that´s keeping in mind that this comic is well known in Germany. But it seems that every time a comicbook movie comes out that is not a super hero movie - and especially when it is a franco / belgian bande dessinee - nobody is interested. Okay, it is not the greatest movie of all times but it is a decent adaption of the comics by Franquin with excellent production values and a cast that seems to have stepped right out of the comics. Even though I wish they would have cast a hotter actress as Seccontine.



You probably expected a video about the new Spirou comic by german artist Flix but I haven´t had time to read it yet and this was not the first time somebody else did a Spirou comic ( well, aside from all the other creative teams that took over the title after Franquin´s demise ).



Usually I would close things out with the Spirou cartoon but it is rare to find a complete film on YouTube and Grave Of The Fireflies is one of the best animes there are. In fact, Roger Ebert considers it to be one of the best and most powerful war films and included it in his Great Movies list.
