TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN: Suspenseful Saturday with Bill Sienkiewicz !

You know, I really thought about continuing with the Legion of Super - Heroes posts so I can finally get to the Adam Hughes post I wanted to write initially about his sadly way too short tenure on PENTHOUSE COMIX, but after seeing how much great original MOON KNIGHT art by Bill Sienkiewicz I still had left after finishing the first Moon Knight post I decided to do another before leaving the subject for the time being.

Because you never know when you will have the chance to get back to it. And I totally intend to because even after finishing this second post there is still enough material left for a third post. Especially if I include the original art from the following MARC SPECTOR : MOON KNIGHT title.

Of which I had quite a few issues. If I remember correctly James Fry III did some issues and I was a big fan of him. He became quite popular for a time but then interest waned or he left comics and I don't know what he is doing at the moment. There also was the Scarlet Redemption story which I bought completely mainly based on the great inks by Tom Palmer.

And of course there were the obligatory INFINITY WAR crossovers after INFINITY GAUNTLET had become so successful and my trusty comicbook dealer put most of them into my bag even if they were not on my list.

I guess he thought he was doing me a solid but since I had the disposable income at that time - and they didn't charge you an arm and a leg for those like nowadays - I didn't mind and bought them as long as the art was not too atrocious. Or they were issues of ALPHA FLIGHT or another comic series my younger brother had on his pull list. Man, now that I am thinking about it, I bought the INFINITY WAR omnibus back in the the day even if I already had a big chunk of the issues because amazon Germany was doing one of their promotions and I got it for just 20 or 30 bucks.

Sadly I had to sell it before my move to Spain and didn't even get to read it. But that's life for you : it's what happens to you while you are making other plans. Anyway, I thought I had already said all I have to say about MOON KNIGHT but apparently there are things left worth mentioning.

In any case, this is where we wrap things up for Today and come to the good stuff and if there is a third MOON KNIGHT post we will delve into something I think I mentioned before. Which is the short lived Moon Knight series between MOON KNIGHT and MARC SPECTOR : MOON KNIGHT which had one of my favourite artists E. R. Cruz on the first three issues.
