As longtime readers know I am especially fond ( read obsessed ) of Power Girl and since Bart Sears did the definite version of her this topic comes up quite a lot either with cosplayers like Yaya Han or cult sirens like Sophie Marceau whom I just mentioned in my second MARVEL VISIONARIES : CHRIS CLAREMONT post because she celebrated her 53rd birthday on November the 17th. Which alone would be no connection to Bart Sears but I also cast her as Justice League Europe´s UN delegate Catherine Colbert in my very first post of CASTING THE JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE .
But we will come to Yaya Han and any other hot sexbombs in the cult siren section at the end of the post. For now I want to talk about Bart Sears and as always this post was a bit unscheduled. First because I have already prepared all the material for a few CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS / George Perez / Marv Wolfman spotlight posts. Since there is a long waiting time until the crossover of the CW shows continues next year I thought this is a good time to post something from the original story. So I sorted out all the material I had and it looks like I will have to do several posts, with two special posts for the Flash and Supergirl. I don´t want to spoil anything and those who have read the story know what I´m talking about anyway.
The second reason why this post came out of the blue is that I already posted a lot of material from JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE for the reasons I already explained. So there was not much material left and even less in really good quality. I was bummed out that I had to throw a lot of original art pages from the sixth issue away because that is a really funny issue.
Somehow the fates wanted me to write a Bart Sears post though because lo and behold, when I was looking for the color pages for the few original art pages I had left I found the complete original art for issue six on COMIC ART FANS. So here is the full issue and as a bonus I threw in the letter pages. Don´t say Subzero doesn´t take care of you. And I know that´s not the cover for issue six at the top of the post but I just came across this beautiful piece of original art and I don´t want to wait another year or until another cult siren comes up who has a connection to Bart Sears to post it. Plus I think it´s more dramatic than the cover for the sixth issue.
For the benefit of any new readers I want to include my previous Bart Sears posts. I think the best place to start is my very first Bart Sears spotlight post which was all about JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE and Power Girl while the second one ( which I wrote the very next day ) took a look at all the other books he worked on during his long career. Since he had already gotten two posts all to himself in 2015 he had to share a post with Mark Texiera the following year ( since Mark´s birthday is on the same day as Bart´s and I hope I can do another Mark Texiera post soon ) and his part was again about JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE. As I like to switch things up last year´s Bart Sears post was about his brilliant work on Valiant Comics´ X - O MANOWAR ( which has come out as part of the X - O MANOWAR CLASSIC OMNIBUS ) although it had a big part about Power Girl and Yaya.
When I started to read american comics the DC universe was brand new thanks to the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS fallout and I grabbed all the series I didn´t know which included the two fisted combo of JUSTICE LEAGUE by Keith Giffen, J. M. DeMatteis and Kevin Maguire and JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE also by Giffen and Matteis, art by Bart Sears and inks by Pablo Marcos whom I knew from his work on DEFENDERS. I don´t know if it was fate but the very first issue of JUSTICE LEAGUE EUROPE I got was issue 4 in which Power Girl, Flash and Animal Man share a hotel room as they go to Bialya on an undercover mission. I re - read the issue a few times and I always wondered if these more human - and more horny in the case of Flash - heroes didn´t spend the waiting time in a more adult way.
Well, I was young, in my sexual prime and had a lot of spare time in the barracks ( we were three in one room but the others went home after duty so I had the black and white television set with a lot of TUTTI FRUTTI and PLAYBOY LATE NIGHT episodes all to myself which didn´t exactly help my situation ) so I re - read the issue a few times imagining what could have happened if Animal Man would have gotten Power Girl under his control with pheromones. Ah, all the things I would have done to her.

GOT ( WALLY ) WOOD ? or IT´S ALL ABOUT POWER GIRL´S POWER GIRLS
In the old comics artist Wally Wood kept making Power Girl´s breasts bigger and bigger to see how far he could take it. Or at least that is the urban legend. Speaking of Wally Wood´s version of Power Girl, if you want to see for yourself if there´s any truth to the claim that he supersized Power Girl´s boob you can find the original art for the 17 page story from ALL - STAR COMICS 65 at the private collection of James Halperin and you can see them at an even bigger resolution at HERITAGE AUCTIONS . Well, in regards to Power Girl´s breast size ( let´s not loose track of what is really important here ) fact is that the artists after Wally Wood drew her with normal proportions .... or what is considered normal for superheroines.
Until Bart Sears took over the character, buffed her up and returned her signature breast size - at least until the whole NEW 52 fiasko / retcon.
For me Bart Sear´s version is still the definite version of Power Girl and when DC started back - paddling with REBIRTH and restoring many things I was curious what that meant for Power Girl. I had hoped that there might be a return to her former glory in store for her but so far the SJWs have stuck the real Power Girl in limbo and replaced her with a political correct, flat chested black version. I guess Kara is too much woman to for them.
Now while I have not written anything new about the post REBIRTH Power Girl it is not true that I have not written about DC´s Maid of the Massive Mammaries at all. I recently started a new series about one of my favorite artists from my earliest comic reading days and while the first post was all about Joe Staton´s contribution to the GREEN LANTERN ( or DIE GRÜNE LEUCHTE how he was called in Germany and at that time I was reading mostly german comics ) my next ones were all about his version of Power Girl - which I also had to split into two separate posts, the intro and the main post - since Joe Staton not only drew all of the adventures of Power Girl or the Justice Society of America but basically everything on Earth 2.
I still have not given up on a Yaya Han Power Girl coconut bra cosplay ( with the tiniest coconut shells you can find although compared to her huge 40D oppai all coconut shells probably look small no matter how big they are ) as she has already shown that she does a terrific Power Girl cosplay and she has no problem filling out the magical cleavage window.

Now a lot of times I just mention cult sirens like Becky Mullen because that gives me the opportunity to include a lot of links to other posts but in this case I actually found a video with her. The only thing that I could not find out is if there is a second volume of the Hard´ N Heavy Babes.
