The reason why I did the Bart Sears post first is that if I must choose one over the other I will always pick the one with a connection to Power Girl. No disrespect to Mark Texeira, he is a great comicbook creator and one of my favorite artists but until he does a comic series about DC´s Maid of the Mighty Mammaries ( which is my kind of subtle hint that I want that to happen ) he will always come up second. Or at least have to share a post with Bart Sears. Sorry man, but it´s all about Power Girl´s power girls.
For some of my readers this is not the first Mark Texeira rodeo so I don´t have to explain that despite the title you will find artwork from various titles in this post. It´s just that nothing else fits this day of the week.
Which is also the reason why it says MOON KNIGHT MITTWOCH instead of MOON KNIGHT WEDNESDAY. I like to have an alliteration in my title and I need to remind my faithful followers - or make the newer visitors of the blog aware - that I am writing this blog in good old Germany. In any case, since Yesterday´s post was all about DC Comics I have selected some of the best Marvel art by Mark Texeira I could find which naturally includes some GHOST RIDER but also such signature characters like the Punisher, Sabretooth and yes, also Moon Knight. Whose costume is silver by the way, not white as a lot of people falsely assume. Because he started as a werewolf hunter going up against, oh, I don´t know, only Marvel Comic´s most famous werewolf ever, Jack Russell a.k.a. WEREWOLF BY NIGHT.
This year I have switched things up a bit since last year´s Mark Texeira tribute was a real black and white post because most of it were original pages from the ETERNALS - THE HEROD FACTOR SPECIAL and I could not find a lot of the color pages from that comic. But that´s okay since I did a Mark Texeira post with the usual selection of stunning art in January 2018.
As I already mentioned he had to share a post with Bart Sears in 2016 and I tried to write a post about Mark Texeira´s GHOST RIDER in 2014 but that was more about how I got back into reading Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz´ THE MIGHTY THOR through a guest appearance of Ghost Rider in issue 430 which is laying the groundwork for THE SOUL SHROUD SAGA. Which I will hopefully be able to cover in a new series in the not too distant future.
Since I couldn´t fit any celebrity birthdays in my last post because of all the Power Girl stuff we have a backlog of three weeks to cover which is impossible to do in one post so I am trying to keep it down to the breast cult sirens. Although with such booty queens like Demi Moore, Christina Arschguilera and Trish Stratus I should probably say the ASSential ones.
For those who have missed the second part of this year´s Chris Claremont birthday tribute - or who don´t want to go back to that post - here is once again the link for my first post about Joe Staton´s GREEN LANTERN which already covers the celebrity birthdays from November the 20th to the 27th. That´s one of the benefits of doing a blog for a long time : if there are some celebrity birthdays I have already written about at length in the past and there is nothing new or exciting to add I can skip them and include a link to the old post. And if there is one that I deem to be important I can include it. Hopefully I can post more often next year and include some new birthday candidates since I haven´t had the time to go over the lists of anniversaries to see if I missed some important ones.
Speaking of important dates, Dan Green´s birthday was on November the 26th and taking the opportunity to kill two mutants with one stone I did a double feature in 2017 about two of my favorite artists he inked on Chris Claremont´s Uncanny X - Men tenure : John Romita Jr and Marc Silvestri .
The post also features a selection of celebrity birthdays from November the 17th up until November the 26th including - sadly - skin flick queen Lorissa McComas who passed away in 2009 at the young age of only 38.
She starred in a lot of softcore skin flicks that used to play on Pro7, RTL II or KabelEins and whenever you read her name is the opening credits you knew that there would be at least some good scenes in the movie. There are always those erotic movies where you know that they picked the lead actress more for her acting ability than for her good looks and in some of these her best friend or sister looks way hotter but does not take her clothes off. Which for me is a huge waste of talent - in erotic movies.
Don´t get me wrong, I´m not saying that a good looking actress HAS to take her clothes off. But I´m also not against it. There are some cases where it may not be appropriate like in a childrens movie. BUT if you are making an erotic movie and you put an extremely attractive actress in a role where she does not take her clothes off anyway - that´s a waste of talent and money because then you should cast another actress who is better at acting. Which brings us back to Lorissa McComas. She played the female lead´s busty best friend or the hero´s cute co - worker or slutty sister very often and she always delivered. In many cases her parts were much better than what was going on during the rest of the erotic movie.
We had another comicbook related birthday on November the 28th with Jerry Ordway who did a lot of the heavy lifting during the post CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS relaunch of Superman under the guidance of John Byrne.
While John Byrne left after a few years Jerry Ordway stayed on a pretty long time which is why there are a lot of his issues in the SUPERMAN : THE EXILE & OTHER STORIES omnibus. Which I still haven´t gotten to re - read.
For some reason comic companies are hesitant to hire Jerry Ordway and you really have to search for his work like his recent five issue stint on Spongebob Squarepants of all things. To honor one of my favorite artists I did a post about the Justice Society of America Annual 1 which was part of the Thy Kingdom Come saga and featured Power Girl´s return to Earth 2. Man, do you remember when Geoff Johns was still writing good comics ?
Now since my first tribute post for Jerry Ordway I have written a few more, in fact my very first post last year was about all the DC books - well most of them - Jerry Ordway did. He is not as well known for his work at Marvel although it has not been less prolific. Frequent visitors of the blog won´t be surprised that I took the opportunity to kill three birds with one stone by posting his inks on John Byrne´s Fantastic Four and so far I have done two posts, one special Valentine´s Day post about one of the worst break ups in Marvel history that mainly contained pages from Fantastic Four 277 but also some from Fantastic Four 278 and Fantastic Four 279 and a special BDSM post about Susan Richards hot transformation into Malice.
On the DC Comics side of things I was planning again to kill two birds with one stone and do a CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS special spotlight because Jerry Ordway was one of the inkers on that iconic story. So I thought with all the attention on the mother of all crossovers because of the CW doing their version on SUPERGIRL, BATWOMAN, FLASH and next year on ARROW and LEGENDS OF TOMORROW it would be a nice post to help people bridge that waiting time and get some DC knowledge at the same time. But as always things did not turn out as planned and after I had prepared all of the material I need I had too much to cram it into just one post. I hope I can do the first one pretty soon - since I already wrote the new version of repentant born for porn actress Alyssa " Do Me Too " Milano´s cult siren entry in advance - but I don´t think there will be any pages inked by Jerry Ordway. I don´t know when I can write another Jerry Ordway spotlight post because I much rather would continue with the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS posts once I start but at least I have enough material for one.
Continuing with the anniversaries Judd Nelson turned 60 who is most famous for The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo´s Fire opposite then young born for porn actress Demi " Wants " Moore " Sex " who filled out quite nicely since then. I constantly mention the blow up sex doll who turned 57 on November the 11th on the blog since she is the number one of my Top Movie Stripteases thanks to her spectacular performance in Striptease.
So it´s probably no surprise that particular movie was the main - but not only focus - on her original 2015 cult siren entry and the re - post in 2016 .
Then I tried to take a break from writing re - posts of natural born stripper Demi Moore which worked fine for a whole year but in 2018 I finally broke down to do a new version - and in two parts no less ( part 1 / part 2 ).
Because while I really tried to keep it under wraps over time so many high quality animated GIFs from that movie had accumulated that I had to do something. So even if you have already read my first two Demi Moore posts check out the new ones with more GIFs of bra buster Demi girating her booty than you can shake .... I´m not going to finish the sentence.
How apt that November the 28th is also the birthday of Anna Nicole Smith and not only because she almost was my first candidate in my The Search For Power Girl series on the old boob blog and there was a lot of Power Girl in my last post. But as if that wasn´t enough Joe Dante directed two episodes of Police Squad and two songs of Randy Newman were used on The Naked Gun : From The Files Of Police Squad both with Leslie Nielsen who was ultimate Busenwunder Anna Nicole Smith ´s co star in The Naked Gun 33 1/3 movie and daimn, she would have been a heck of a Power Girl !
Which must have been what 89 year old billionaire J. Howard Marshall was thinking when he married the then 26 year old Playmate Of The Month of May 1992 and Playmate Of The Year 1993 in 1994. His family was probably not very thrilled about this since they assumed she only married him for his money which she planned to inherit as soon as possible by having lots of freaky sex with the old guy in as many positions as you can think of.
Of which horny J. Howard Marshall probably was aware from the get - go.
This must be the absolutely best way to go : after getting filthy rich you marry a young and flexible blonde Playmate Of The Month with giant 41DD boobs whose only goal in life is to kill you with sex. As I have already said all I have to say at the moment about the celebrity birthdays from the 1st of December in the first part about Jack Kirby´s THOR issue 173 - which not only includes original black and white pages but also black and white pages in german and the colored american pages - we jump to December the 2nd, the anniversary of the late Jack Davis.
Most people Today know him from his contributions to the famous Mad magazine but he started out as one of the regular artist on the best horror anthology ever published. I have to mention him as the name of this blog leaves me no alternative. I just shamelessly use any excuse to put more horror stuff on the blog and two years ago I managed to write a special double feature with two of those stories for the EC horror cult comics.
The post also includes the celebrity birthdays for December the 2nd so we can go ahead with our countdown of pop culture relevant dates. Although I have to included a few more links for my newer readers. As a big fan of the classic EC Comics I have done a number of posts on the subject : a special black and white tribute post to William Gaines in 2017 with two full stories, one by Johnny Craig and one by George Evans, last year I did two posts, one for the horror books and one for the other titles EC published and a black and white post with the complete original artwork of the story And All Throughout The House by Johnny Craig from The Vault Of Horror 35 which was featured in the Tales From The Crypt movie from 1972.
I don´t know what happened to the celebrity birthdays from December the 3rd to December the 7th but the next day where I pick up the baton is on December the 8th. Speaking of taking up the baton, because they would have busted this post I have decided to include my selective list of cult sirens of notice from December the 8th like Teri Hatcher or Halle Berry in my last THORSDAY WITH ERIK LARSEN post . Which is mainly about older stuff because once again I am not up to date but I just can´t make it to my comic shop in Esslingen. I hope I can finally make that trek on Saturday.
We have another gap between December the 9th and the 10th and our next comic related anniversary is the late John Buscema on December the 11th. He pops up in so many posts that I can´t include all of them but for the sake of newer followers of the blog I am mentioning some of them.
One of the reasons why it´s so difficult for me to enjoy the new takes on Conan is that for me Marvel already did the definite version of him with John Buscema and Ernie Chan. For me that is the mountain top, the gold standard, the be - all end - all, the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. So far I have not found the time to make a proper post about it but some of John Buscema´s work on CONAN of course is part of this Ernie Chan tribute from 2016 and last year I even posted the complete original art from CONAN THE BARBARIAN issue 29 .
Now while most experienced comicbook afficionados seem to agree that the Conan by John Buscema and Ernie Chan is the best I seem to be one of the few who loved John Buscema´s tenure on FANTASTIC FOUR. It´s like with THOR where most people only talk about the issues by Jack Kirby and Walt Simonson but I also like the next run by Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz.
With the Fantastic Four it´s even more extreme. Again, most people only talk about Jack Kirby´s iconic foundation or the John Byrne run. While I like almost everything of it. I like the period after Jack Kirby left and John Buscema took over the art reigns, I like the period after that when guys like Rich Buckler, George Perez and Pablo Marcos picked up the slack, I like the short but sweet run by Walter Simonson ( he even continued a story he had started on AVENGERS where he took over for Roger Stern ), there is of course another marathon by Tom DeFalco and Paul Ryan, heck, I even like the wacky period after John Byrne left and the brothers John and Sal Buscema were doing the art chores up to when Keith Pollard became the regular artist, the Sharon Ventura Miss Marvel became a female version of the Thing and the original Thing became .... well, a much thingier thing.
In any case I wrote about all that and more in this year´s Joe Sinnott birthday post since he was the inker on most of these issues and he provided the glue that held all of it together. And because he was such a big factor in my appreciation of John Buscema´s first tenure on the book - which was my favorite reading material when it was published by Williams Verlag - I seized my chance to kill two skrulls with one ultimate nullifier in my Joe Sinnott birthday post from 2017 all about Marvel´s first family.
I have to take every chance to mention THE OVERMIND SAGA. Although to tell to truth, I´m not even sure if anybody else but me calls it that. In any case, I´m not going to go into detail about the story because a. ) I don´t want to spoil it for anybody who has not read it, b. ) all those who WANT to read about one of the best Fantastic Four stories of all time ( at least in my humble opinion and Robi will back me up ) can do it in this posting .
The most recent ones are my John Buscema´s Top Ten Avengers Covers posts where I am now down to the top three covers. It seems the further I get to the top the less covers I can include in one post. And in the latest one I only got to do one so maybe I will need two posts for my number three. Nevertheless since I have not gotten any negative comments from readers so far it seems that they rather enjoy or at least appreciate my ramblings. So here are the four posts I have done so far : John Buscema´s Top Ten covers for the german Williams Verlag series Die Ruhmreichen Rächer and John Buscema´s Top Ten Avengers cover from his second run on the book with Roger Stern ( numbers 10 to 6 , number five , number four ). Speaking of that run, I also did a post on Avengers 300 - which only took me three tries - and on one of the best but sadly most underrated stories Assault on Olympus ( which is mainly due to it coming hot on the heels of the brilliant Under Siege Saga, probably the best Avengers story ever written ) with the best original art I could find. To which I could finally do a second part last year. Apart from that I am sure that I will get back to the topic of John Buscema´s Top Ten Avengers covers ( and my usual deviations on it ) although that will happen rather later than sooner.

For Today I have to include a dynamic duo of busty blonde bombshells who have caused erections around the world and we are off to a good start with somebody I have not mentioned in a while, mega MILF Christina Aguilera a.k.a. XXXtina Arschguilera who turns 39.
Aside from having a great voice Christina also has a booming body which was always popping out of her clothes exposing some great cleavage long before she cranked it up to the max when her twin torpedoes exploded due to her pregnancy. The whole world was flooded with a veritable plethora of hot pictures of the blonde Busenwunder and I had to do two posts on my old boobblog to fit them all in. It´s a real shame the überinflated cult siren did not use the opportunity to shoot mega hot music videos with her giant - sized melons.
She could have believable played Power Girl and she would not have had a problem filling out the magical boob window with her huge milkshakes.
Christina Aguilera is one of my all time sex phantasies so it may strike some readers as strange that I haven´t done an entry for her in the cult siren hall of fame since she has earned that in spades - not only because of her boner inducing pregnancy boobs - but all of her sexy pictures, music videos and live appearances before this and since. But you have to keep in mind that with a birthday that close to the holiday season - which for me is always extra busy - it may take a while before I can cum to that.
I have to admit I am not up to date with Christina Aguilera. Like so many others it is difficult to keep up now that cult sirens are not such a high priority on the blog. I mean they are still an integral part of what I like to call " the fun section " and in fact often seem to dominate the posts so much that you might get the impression they have taken over but the number of pure cult siren posts or re - posts has gone down drastically.
That was one bonus when I still had my boobblog : doing the re - posts was a chance for me to look up their most recent movies, music videos, talk show appearances etc. With Christina the last thing I became aware of is that she was one of the judges on The Voice ( where she displayed her still awesome 34E boobs in a lot of generous cleavages ) but I don´t want to go through all of the videos from that show. In any case I have a video with Christina which I have been saving for just such an occassion.
On the same days as Christina Aguilera we have fitness model, Sexbombe and WWF ( for me it will be always the real WWF and not this new WWE crap ) Diva Trish " The Dish " Stratus who celebrates her 44th birthday.
While Trish Stratus never won any fitness competitions, long before she stepped into the squared circle, a lot of us saw her in MUSCLE & FITNESS.

As a fitness model, Stratus has been on the cover of major health and fitness magazines such as MUSCLEMAG, FLARE, and TOTAL WOMEN´S FITNESS. She also released a calendar series called " Dream Team " with fellow model, Stacey Lynn. As a sports entertainer, she was proclaimed the " Diva of the Decade " on the WWF RAW X Anniversary Show . She was voted " WWE Babe of the Year " three times between 2001 and 2003.

Longtime followers of the blog already know that canadian professional wrestler, wrestling valet, model and actress Gail Kim or Die Geile Kim - as she is known in Germany - is one of my favorites but for the newcomers to TALES FROM THE KRYPTONIAN I should mention that I have already written four posts on her. So it should be no surprise that the video I am including for all people out there who don´t have a DVD with Trish Stratus is a tag team match in which Trish Stratus teams up with the asian sensation.
Since I very seldom get the chance to mention female wrestlers on the blog I have to include another video with Gail Kim. But since we already have a wrestling match here is her Knockout Of The Month shoot.
Now my brother always tells me that I have to share a bit more behind the scenes stuff so I want to address that while sometimes the pieces of art I chose to include are only dependent on availability and personal taste in some cases I do it with a purpose that only becomes apparent later on.
For example the cover of UNCANNY X - MEN 244 that I included earlier as an example of an X - Men issue that was drawn by Marc Silvestri and inked by Dan Green might seem like a strange choice. It´s neither one of their best covers nor a personal favorite of mine. No, the reason why I picked it is that I have an actual video for this particular break issue which was also chosen by Disney to be one of their True Believers one dollar comics since it features the first appearance of Jubilee. See how it all comes together ?
Finding a cartoon video for this post wasn´t easy since it covers a lot of different Marvel Comics series on the other hand there was never a Ghost Rider or Punisher cartoon among the plethora of Marvel cartoon series that have been produced over the years. So I am including all of them.
You can´t have Christmas without Mariah Carey and if her huge 39EE jingle bells are not enough to get you into the Christmas Spirit ( she can lick my candy cane any time she wants although if she would massage it with her giant Christmas balls it would be more of a stick of rock ) I don´t know what will. And don´t worry, if I really get to do more than one Christmas post this year I still have a few more Mariah Carey videos up my sleeve.
Longtime readers know that one of my pet pevees on this blog is celebrating all the brave actresses who turn insufferable dreck into bearable entertainment by taking their clothes off or at least show what their Mama gave them and who don´t get enough recognition for that .
So I wanted to acknowledge Lorissa McComas by including one of her movies which has delayed the completion of this post considerably.
Because just a few weeks ago I came across the movie Droid Gunner a.k.a. Cyberzone a.k.a. Phoenix 6 which I had included in an earlier post where it had been deleted. Naturaly I tried to find that post but to no avail. So I posted it here - and regular visitors might have seen it - and did my usual research but just as I was about to put the finishing touches on a very long part about Lorissa McComas and the other hot blow up sex dolls ( quite literally since they play a group of pleasure droids ) who appear in that film I realized why I could not find where I had posted it before : because I had replaced it with the classic midnight movie Lap Dancing.
So because I always try to keep this blog as authentic as possible I have put the new video of Droid Gunner in the old post ( in the hopes that it doesn´t get nixed right away ) while I am putting Lap Dancing here.
Now there are those readers who don´t like my ventures into the realm of voluptuous video vixen and prefer my journeys into the eerie landscape of horror so Today I am doing a double feature. Although I am not sure if The Nude Vampire has less nudity then Lap Dancing. I mean, with the word " nude " in the title, what can you expect ? I haven´t seen the full movie yet but they had me as soon as the naked nubian sex queen appears.
As the year reaches its end so does this post - which is my 1,095th by the way - so I am trying to include as many old videos as I can. So Today´s tv callback is for my german viewers even if only the oldest ones will recall Im Reich der wilden Tiere. It was one of the standard tv shows when I was growing up. The guy who did the german dubbing was a very prolific voice actor and his voice is connected to many cherished childhood memories.
Sadly there are only two full episodes of Im Reich der wilden Tiere on YouTube ( and not in the best picture quality ) but a whole slew of episodes from Mutual Of Omaha´s Wild Kingdom as it was originally called.
And though I don´t have any fond childhood memories attached to that show I wanted to include an episode of it for my readers in Amerika.
