It seems that my Don Heck posts are always unscheduled. This time I had just looked up some of his art on the internet so I can put something adequate in my last post but after putting all the unused material in the folder I decided to write a post before I run out of all the good stuff.
Anyway, as longtime readers of this blog know one of my pet peeves is to spotlight artists who are underappreciated, undervalued or underrated, in short any creators where I think they undeservedly got the short end of the stick. I also mentioned that in my opinion Don Heck is such an artist because for most people he is just the guy who drew IRON MAN until Gene Colan took on the title or AVENGERS until John Buscema took over. Most people forget that he did not only solid artwork but he also drew some of the sexiest babes in comics ( which was one of the reasons why he got such high profile titles ) and he also did a lot of work for DC on titles like TEEN TITANS, AQUAMAN, BATMAN or THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA.
Now my last Don Heck post was all about Iron Man but since I used up a lot of the original art I had assembled I would have had to resort to all the german pages I got left. Which are not that good where the quality is concerned ( sorry, good scans of german comics from my youth are hard to come by ) and it would have been too similar to my first Don Heck post.
So instead I was thinking about doing an AVENGERS / WONDER WOMAN double feature but then I found enough original art for a WONDER WOMAN solo post. We have had a lot of Marvel stuff in our last posts and because I like to switch things up here we are with a post about Diana. At first this was going to be a BLACK AND WHITE only post but I couldn´t resist the chance to post some Don Heck WONDER WOMAN pages with the Titans.
As the more frequent blog visitors may have noticed I like to group the material in my posts so aside from a few scattered pages of original art we have two big chunks : one is the aforementioned Wonder Woman / Teen Titans team up from WONDER WOMAN 287 and the other one is from WONDER WOMAN 206. Which is a classic issue because it contains - well, not the first appearance of Nubia because that was in issue 204 ( which is the only WONDER WOMAN cover by Don Heck, only for those wondering why the cover at the top is not from any of the issues by Don Heck in this post ). No, issue 206 had the reveal that Nubia is actually Wonder Woman´s sister. The other reason why this issue is so well known is the beautiful cover by Nick Cardy which pops up in most discussions about Nubia.
Yep, DC Comics already had a black Wonder Woman back in 1973. Take that SJWs ! And before you all come s - word storming at me for using the term " black Wonder Woman " instead of " afro - american Wonder Woman " the reason why I can´t use the latter term is that Nubia is neither " afro " nor " american " since she doesn´t hail neither from Africa nor from America.
With her origin you could argue that she is from Themyscaria but since the women there seem to stem from a variety of racial backgrounds that does not really help to narrow it down. Also since she was formed out of clay like Wonder Woman she technically was not born like humans so the whole gender / skin color / race profiling / stereotyping thing doesn´t apply.
Man, reading comicbooks really were simpler back then. Despite the groundbreaking idea of a black Wonder Woman Nubia didn´t get a lot of play : she is introduced in issue 204, missing for most of issue 205 and after the obligatory fight against Wonder Woman and team up against Ares in issue 206 that´s all she wrote. Now unlike the AVENGERS stuff by Don Heck his WONDER WOMAN issues have not been reprinted yet so finding good scans was difficult. As always I did my best so I hope my readers will give me some leeway. And since I had to change my original plans there is still enough material for another AVENGERS / WONDER WOMAN or even AQUAMAN / WONDER WOMAN post left. Meanwhile on Paradise Island ...
With no links for this post we start with the celebrity birthdays and I think it is kind of fitting that the first one is voluptuous vixen Victoria Principal who turned 70 on January the 3rd because she was one of the biggest tv sex symbols on tv during Don Heck´s run on Wonder Woman. Besides brightening up the days of legions of horny boys all ages on tv she appeared in a few movies like Earthquake where the future Dallas double D dekolletage doll wears the mother of all afros. As well as a very thin t - shirt, the latter drawing the viewer´s attention away from the former.
Of course Victoria Principal is best known as Pamela Barnes Ewing on the tv cult show Dallas and back then she was working as an agent and booked the audition for herself. Victoria has always been a self made woman and with all her accolades as an actress, producer, book author, singer ( she recorded a song with Andy Gibb to whom she was married ), philantropist, her line of skin care products she really deserves an entry into the cult siren hall of fame. So I won´t be able to do her justice. One of the things that amazes me the most about Victoria Principal is that there are no secret behind the scenes sex stories about her. You might think that on a show like Dallas which had a revolving casting door of the biggest sex bombs on screen there would be wild sex parties or at least something with her co - star Patrick Duffy but no. The same goes for Audrey Landers.

Audrey is best known as Afton Cooper on Dallas which featured just a plethora of babes like Stacy Sanchez, Michelle Johnson, Priscilla Presley, Coleen Camp, Charlene Tilton, Deborah Shelton, Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Carrera, Tracy Scoggins, Claudia Christian, Lesley Anne - Down, Victoria Principal or Janine Turner . Still Audrey who together with her sister Judy Landers was one of the hottest commodities of that time stood one cut above the rest and they surely knew how to squeeze their big talents the right way. They could have made a real fortune working the stripper pole.
Before the Hilton sisters, Mother Nature blessed us with the stunning Landers sisters, and if you were a teen in the 1980s, the only crack you were on was the roughly twelve inches of cleavage shared between Judy Landers and her sister Audrey. They helped keep the boob in " boob tube " for over a decade, with appearances on nearly every hit tv show requiring a dyed - in - the - scalp blonde with the breast - busting bikini to match.

The 80s gave us a lot of the Landers sisters, mostly on the small screen, where they were often fashioned in as little clothing as possible and even less dialogue. It's hard to imagine though, or it's hard when you imagine, just how famous older sister Audrey Landers became playing the perennial bubbly blonde for our perpetually perky peckers. The sexbombs dazzled us with their own brand of twin magic long before the Bellas arrived on the scene and I must confess I prefer their version of it since here we got two sexbombs for the price of one while Bree is just a poor version of Nikki since she got her boobs inflated to pornstarsize. But back to the Landers.
Both of these blow up sex dolls would have been perfect in a Little Annie Fanny movie since with their perfectly shaped breasts, butts that won´t quit, legs almost up to their chins plus their lean and fit tireless bodies they were born for porn and back in the 80s they were the hottest blonde double d combo everybody fantasized about as two thirds of a sandwich.
AUDREY AND JUDY : BORN FOR PORN ? A PLAYBOY SHOOTING BACKFIRES
In real life neither of them were but they clearly were unaware of the general public´s perception of them as the ultimate sex symbols. Proof of that is the fact that they did a very tasteful but non - nude ( and non - paying, so thanks for that ) PLAYBOY pictorial for publicity reasons only.
They thought it would help the direction of their career and that the roles they would be offered would change from cheerleaders to more mature roles. Of course the incredibly sexy pictures had just the opposite effect since a lot of people had not actually seen the pictorial and just assumed they had done nudity and so all of the roles they were offered had nudity.
Like I said, for two such incredible sexbombs it´s astounding that they managed to life a life without sex scandals and they are both married and have two kids, Audrey has twin sons and Judy has two daughters. There have been a few attempts to do a reality show with the sisters but their everyday life turned out to be too boring for the networks and since they refused to spice it up to get more viewers nothing ever came out of it.

Larson since he was the writer and / or director / producer of all the cool tv shows of my youth like The Highwayman, McCloud, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Magnum P. I. , Simon & Simon, Knight Rider but most importantly The Fall Guy with my all time tv crush Markie Post .
Longtime readers know that while Markie Post was practically in everything that was on tv in the 70s and 80s she became one of my ultimate sex phantasies on the show The Fall Guy which every male that was alive in the 80s remembers - and we will get to the reason why.
THERE`S SOMETHING ABOUT HEATHER THOMAS - AND HER BLUE BIKINI
But The Fall Guy didn´t just have 80s Power Girl Markie Post they also put blonde bombshell Heather Thomas in the show right from the beginning.
She played stunt body double ( and what a body it was ) Jody and her job was to keep the male viewers hooked by providing eye candy. She was in all episodes except for an episode in the first season. Yes, fan service is not as new as some people might want you to think and Heather Thomas mainly got the part because of her absolutely amazing bikini figure. OMG !
Like most growing teenagers I watched that show religiously but the biggest part of its appeal for me were sexbombs like Heather Thomas and Markie Post who didn´t appear as often in a bikini as I would have liked.
Well, Heather Thomas did since that was her main purpose on the show but Markie Post´s appearances in bikinis on The Fall Guy were very few.

Markie Post played bail bonds contractor Terri Michaels ( who replaced previous bail bonds contractor Samantha Jack played by Jo Ann Pflug ) beginning with Season 2 and at the beginning she played a minor role.
But Markie Post knew that she was destined to super stardom, so when the opportunity arose that one of the producers of the show who was a bit smitten with Markie appeared on the set she managed to set up a few meetings - just to discuss her role of course. Even though he claimed to be happily married the business meetings turned into private meetings which were then relocated to a secret no - tell motel where Markie used her relentless body and her natural ability to spread her legs better than a fillipino hooker to give the lucky guy who was hung like a horse a Kama Sutra crash course with more than the twenty two positions in a one night stand including some sexual practices that are illegal in fourteen states.
After Markie had successfully dicktamed the guy six ways to Sunday during these weekend long squirt marathons he was only too eager to convince the rest of the guys in charge what a complete waste it would be to have somebody like Markie on the cast without letting her " show off what her Mama gave her " like they say Today and the rest is 80s tv history. So Markie got more involved in the stories where she stole the scene from Heather Thomas as soon as she donned a bikini ( mainly in season three ).
Coming back to Heather Thomas, thanks to her absolutely stunning 37 ( ! ) - 23 - 32 measurements and the exposure in The Fall Guy she became a famous pin up model with posters on every hormone driven boy's bedroom wall who even managed to replace Raquel Welch on the number one spot !
80s Power Girl Markie Post is probably the best known cult siren on the blog because not only have I done many re - posts of her original post .
I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .
Now while I have run out of episodes of The Fall Guy there is something else connected with Markie Post I want to include. You see Markie is not actually in it but it stars Richard Moll who - before a gazillion voice acting gigs on apparently every cartoon show there is ( I´m not kidding, if you have a few hours time just go over his imdb page ) - was one of the cast members of Night Court alongside Harry Anderson, John Laroquette and Markie Post. Markie played public defender Christine Sullivan who was always covered up except for a few occassions like the famous episode 17 from season 4 called Christine´s Friend where Markie wore a dress with a plunging cleavage more than worthy of Power Girl´s magical boob window.
Anyway, Richard Moll played Nostradamus " Bull " Shannon on Night Court and he is the antagonist in House which is a cult classic horror film. I know that Halloween is over but if you haven´t seen it or never heard of the movie you must check it out, it´s one of the best horror flicks I´ve seen.

Which will be right around when the last two episodes of the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS air, right ? We start the extremely short video section ( since I could already check a few categories from my usual list with the birthday related videos ) with a return to more horror stuff.
At first I wanted to include another SY FY channel video about another 80s cartoon show but then I thought : " Why not include a video where the person who made it actually LIKES the topic instead of just doing snide remarks ? " There also is a new animated Wonder Woman movie out but after watching the trailer it looks like a bad remake of the first animated Wonder Woman movie. And can we please get rid of the New52 costumes now that they have finally come to their senses in the DC comicbooks ?
Then I found a video about Challenge of the Super Friends that paints the show in a positive way but since it is too similar to our next video - which was chosen before any of the other videos in this post - I decided to go with a trailer for an animated movie that actually seems to care about the original source material. Plus it looks like this movie is actually a lot of fun.
Right from when I knew which pages were going to be part of this post I knew that I just had to include a video about Nubia´s all too brief story in comicbooks just in case somebody still thinks I am making this stuff up.
Today´s music videos are a callback to my latest cosplay girls appreciation post in which I wrote about Hyuna´s recent wardrobe malfunction where she exposed her stunning 36B - 23 - 34 weapons of mass seduction to a delighted audience during a concert ( and you can find more animated GIFs and videos of Hyuna´s brief wardrobe malfunction in that post ).
I guess this happened pretty early in the concert because Hyuna just tied down her shirt and went on to perform Lip & Hip ( with boob shaking at 0:52 min and 2:03 min plus pushing up her boobs with her hands at 2:38 min ), Red ( boob shake at 0:55 min and 1:01 min ), Bubble Pop and Roll Deep because she didn´t want to disappoint her fans ( which is almost impossible after she gave them a peek at her terrific twin torpedoes !! ).
