Like with our last BLACK AND WHITE post there were certain difficulties finding the corresponding color art because the original art in this post was assembled over the course of a few years and I didn´t always have the time to look up from which comicbook it is. In other cases - like Frank Cho´s breathtaking Spiderwoman cover above - it wasn´t diffcult to find out that it was the cover for THE NEW AVENGERS 14 since it is a famous and very popular cover. The problem here was to find the original color version because there are a few different versions of it on the internet.
In some cases it took some real digging and detective skills but I finally figured out that the art below is penciled by Joe Kubert and inked by Nestor Redondo and it´s from DC Comic´s Treasury Edition of The Bible and I found the corresponding piece of color art on THE BRONZE AGE OF BLOGS where you can read the full issue. What an incredible masterpiece.
I wish the big two would reprint more stuff like this even if it´s not as popular as the superhero stuff that ties in to the current movie hype.
With some other art pieces I could not find from which comicbook they are or I couldn´t fidn any good scans. As I have mentioned once or twice none of the stuff I publish on the blog is art I personally own and except for some animated GIFs and banners ( to which we will come later ) I have to rely solely on things I find on the internet. And in some cases there is no colored version because it´s a commssion piece, con sketch or fanart.
Or it is simply a black and white piece that was never colored. So I hope my readers will cut me some slack and I hope we have a good start 2020.
So here we are 1,100 posts later. 2019 was a difficult year and it seems like this year will be another challenge. With all the life stuff I still managed to write 95 posts - including a lot of spin offs - which is not as much as I wrote in 2018 ( where I wrote an incredible 113 posts despite working on my new comicbooks ) but still more than in 2017 where I wrote only 94 posts. You can see what kind of year it was depending on how many posts I wrote. The highest numbers of posts was in 2016 with 186 posts and the lowest was in 2012 where I only wrote 31. So 95 is a pretty good number.
In previous years I did a little recap at the beginning of the year but I think I will let the introspective for a special post. Today we have a pretty lengthy bonus section so let´s start with the birthdays we missed since our last post. As always I tried to keep it short and what is strange is that we have not one but two wrestling related birthdays. For somebody who constantly complains about not getting a chance to write about wrestling that often this is the third post in a row where I write about wrestling.

And we start our anniversary roll call of bootyness with former PLAYBOY model and the TnA iMPACT Wrestling Dollhouse´s main blow up sex doll Taryn Terell who celebrated her 34th birthday on December the 28th.
Now Taryn Terrell started out as a referee for the knockouts division and I have to say that her referee uniform is still my favorite of all her outfits.
Especially Taryn´s bonerinducing short shorts were a sight to behold.
Whenever Taryn slid across the ring on all four it made just want to jump on top of her and ride her firm butt to Laramie like they say in Germany.
Terriffic Tary Terell hasn´t gotten her own cult siren entry yet and so far I only get to mention her in my posts about hot korean knockout Gail Kim .

December the 28th is also the anniversary of the birth of Stan Lee so I want to include a video for him. When he passed I decided to include more videos with him but I have not succeeded as much as I planned.
I am still thinking about doing a special post but it´s just too difficult to decide what to put in it. I mean he co - created at least 75 percent of the characters in this post. So for the moment I will have to be satisfied with mentioning him here and there until inspiration hits me. As for December the 28th there is another cult siren birthday in Normani´s cult siren entry.

It is fitting that our next candidate is Iain De Caestecker who turned 32 on the 29th of December since he plays Leo Fitz on Marvel´s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. because while Stan Lee didn´t create this particular character he co - created Nick Fury And His Howling Commandos with Jack Kirby ( according to Stan Lee he did it to prove that the reason why the Marvel comics sold so well were the characters by creating not only a war comic when nobody wanted to read war comics but also by giving it a really long title and introducing a racial diverse cast - including the first black main character in comics - which was sure to raise a few eyebrows back then ).
Daimn, what a pair of legs Ming - Na Wen got. Keeping the asian sensation theme going I am including another video with her but since we have an interview above here is Ming as agent Melinda May. One of these days I really have to bingewatch the whole batshit crazy time travel Kree fight club season so I can continue with the Marvel´s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
For those who are keeping tabs we have another celebrity birthday from December the 29th in my first post with unposted black and white art at the end of 2018 and skipping all birthdays for the 30th of December we come to the 31st and another anniversary connected to Marvel Comics.
It´s Fabian Nicieza who celebrated his 58th birthday. He is one of Marvel´s greatest architects - not only of their X - MEN universe - who nevertheless won´t appear on many critic´s list of top ten writers so I did a spotlight post for him in 2018 which includes a lot of Greg Capullo art from his X - FACTOR run ( which gave Boomer Boom Boom a brand new costume that fit like a second skin and showed off her big boom booms ) and QUASAR.
The post also includes a few more celebrity birthdays from December the 30th and December the 31st which brings us to January the 1st and back to wrestling with brunette 36D - 25 - 36 sexbomb Kimberly Page who turned 50 and who - like Taryn Terell - was in PLAYBOY numerous times.
In Kimberly´s case it was in newsstands pictorials from 1994 to 1999. She often gets mixed up with PLAYBOY´s Playmate Of The Month in May 1987 Kymberly Paige who celebrated her 54th birthday on the 1st of January.
Kimberly with an " i " is the ex - wife of wrestler Diamond Dallas Page and I did a special spin - off post for him in 2018 although the biggest part of that is about KimberMe and the Nitro Girls. Since then I came across RING THE DAMN BELL where you can go to find out Whatever Happened to Kimberly Page ? and to learn Whatever Happened to the Nitro Girls ?
There are a few videos with complete big wrestling events I found but I wanted to include one from the time when Diamond Dallas Page - and Kimberly - were at the top of their game. Man, this really was the high water mark for the wrestling industry. Everything that came after that - with the exclusion of the knockouts over at TNA Wrestling - was downhill.
We also have a music related anniversary with Grandmaster Flash who turned 62 and The Message is one of the rap standards every kid in my school knew by heart. Which makes it especially funny when I watch one of those Teens React videos where these millenials have no clue. But we will come to Teens React or like some viewers like to call it whenever they have a hot sexbomb like brabuster Jair in an episode Tits React later on.
Which brings us to Today´s anniversaries and another cult siren who got naked for PLAYBOY, none other than 36D - 24 - 35 hawaiian hottie Tia Carrere who celebrates her 53rd birthday. And there is also a comicbook connection since she appeared in the episode On A Dead Man´s Chest from the Tales From The Crypt tv show ( episode 3 of season 4 ) based on the story of the same title by Johnny Craig from Haunt Of Fear issue 12.
Some of her best scenes are in the comedy High School High opposite Jon Lovitz and really, Tia Carrere is the only reason to watch that flick, guys.
Apropos, Tia Carrere was also the female lead in Relic Hunter, a show that flopped despite it´s brilliant pitch : do an Indiana Jones tv series but instead of Harrison Ford make the archeologist a hot exotic sexbomb. I never understood why the series was not more successful since Tia wore sexy outfits, took off her clothes a few times and showed lots of skin.
But I guess it was because the scripts were not that good. Well, that and her assistant / girlie man Nigel, the americans always have an inferiority complex when it comes to people from Britain and the writers are no exception. So they didn´t have the cojones to make an english man cool ( one of the reasons why Mike Meyers did the Austin Powers movies ).
And as longtime readers of the blog know I can´t let the opportunity pass to mention one of my favorite flicks, True Lies where Tia Carrere played femme fatale Juno Skinner although she didn´t show much skin herself.
Of course one of the reasons why TRUE LIES is one of my favorite Arnold movies is mega MILF Jamies Lee Curtis incredibly hot striptease, the best striptease in movie history - at least according to a poll conducted in 2007.
Which is all the more impressive if you keep in mind that Jamie Lee Curtis was 36 at the time. So she did her best movie scene when her body was in remarkable shape - she exercised every day for this - and I cannot even begin to imagine how epic it would have been if she hadn´t kept on her underwear and gone full monty frontal nudity. Because James Cameron had seen her in A Fish Called Wanda and wrote the role of Helen Trasker specifically to see her nude body. A lot of other actresses auditioned for the role and while I could definitely see Demi Moore in that part ( who is the number one in my Top Movie Stripteases thanks to her spectacular performance in Striptease ) or even Kim Basinger, Michelle Pfeiffer, Geena Davis, Rosanna Arquette, Madonna, Jennifer Jason Leigh and possibly Lea Thompson or Sharon Stone I thank God that it wasn´t given to Emma Thompson, Melanie Griffith, Debra Winger, Anette Benning or Joan Cusak.
But Jamie was not always a sex symbol and started out in horror movies like Halloween and The Fog ( which also starred cult siren Adrienne Bareau about whom you can read more in this brand new spin - off post ) where she quickly became very famous for her impressive set of lungs as one of Hollywood´s premiere scream queens. Although she later became quite literal famous for her impressive set of lungs as her boobs had busted out and she quickly got the nickname " freezeframe " because her scenes in such movies like Perfect or Trading Places became the most paused on the vcr thanks to Jamie´s erection guaranteeing 34C - 22 - 34 measurements.
I have already done a number of posts on JaMILF Lee Curtis : the original post which mostly contains pictures with links to animated GIFs , one post with all the pictures I could find , a re - posted version with a few GIFs added and the post I did on her in 2016 which has lots of spectacular GIFs.
Speaking of spectacular GIFs, the reason why I am mentioning Demi Moore - besides the opportunity to feature her - is I wrote a new version of her cult siren entry ( part 1 / part 2 ) with more GIFs of Demi girating her booty than you can shake .... okay, I´m not going to finish the sentence.
In Today´s Dearly Departed section we have Don Heck whom I already mentioned in my last post. He is one of the artists who is criminally underappreciated by the comicbook fandom at large despite his great contributions to the comicbook landscape not only at Marvel Comics.
So far I have only done a spotlight post about his great work on IRON MAN ( with a lot of pages from the german issues by the Williams Verlag ) but I hope to add a few more entries in the hopefully not too distant future.
To put the bow on the celebrity birthdays of Today there is another one in my belated Jerry Ordway tribute post from 2018 . Now one thing I am trying to change a bit is not letting so many videos accumulate which is why I have decided to feature my future wife Jair from Teens React again.
You see ? I told you we would come back to her later. There have been some negative comments when I suggested a Wet T - Shirt Contest Challenge for the more physically developed girls from Teens React but with her new outfit in our first video ( which would be perfect for the receptionist / oral deposit extractor at a sperm bank or a nymphomanic alumni of Deepthroat High ) sex doll Jair herself handed in her audition for a wet t - shirt contest if I have ever seen a born for porn sex queen.

Now while the FBE guys totally made that up I´m not sure if there was no off screen sex marathon between Jair and Ethan because there is a short moment where Jair is admiring Ethan´s long tongue and you can see that she is already thinking about where on her body to put it to the best use.
And I´m sure Ethan didn´t put up too much resistance once Jair lured him into her bedroom with the promise of sucking him dry, got buck naked and showed him that she can spread her legs better than La Lopez in Hustlers.
Now the title of our first video is People Fail At The World´s Simplest Tasks which is ironic because the FBE guys fail repeatedly at a simple task themselves : getting a good shot of Jair´s big boobs. Jair is smooshing her tits on the table right at the beginning having a wardrobe malfunction but you can´t see anything because she is almost completely blocked from view. All throughout the video our view of Jair is constantly impeded by the laptop or other objects they paste in and while that made it that much easier to make the animated GIF at the start ( since those are all of her breast moments from the video ) it dampens the quality of the video.
Speaking of blocking the view on Jair´s puppies, the videos with Jair and food are usually pretty good ( they have to do a video where the REACT babes use their oral skills and I´m not speaking about speed eating ) and she is wearing an exceptionally big cleavage but I couldn´t make a good GIF because it is either covered by Jair´s name tag or the black board.
Here we have another video with Jair eating and while she is wearing the same black shirt with a generous cleavage as in her breast video yet ( and you can find more animated GIFs of Jair from that particular video in this post ) sadly she is not smooshing her giant Jairbags on the table as well.
Well, at least she is not constantly covered by stuff so you get a good view of her juicy chocolate twin milkshakes that bring all the boys to the yard.
In this one Jair is wearing a seethrough shirt - which is definitely a step up - but because it is black you can´t see anything in the animated GIF.
Last but not least here is a video to illustrate how easy it is to film Jair without putting stuff in the way. I may have put up the link in an earlier post but without feedback I am never sure how many click on the links.
Longtime readers know that one of my pet pevees on this blog is celebrating all the brave actresses who turn insufferable dreck into bearable entertainment by taking their clothes off or at least show what their Mama gave them and who don´t get enough recognition for that .
So the reason why I mentioned Jennifer Lopez´ pole dance in Husters ( besides hoping beyond hope that the FBE guys get inspired for their next dance challenge and don´t f - word this up like when I suggested the girl could eat stuff in an erotic fashion and they did a speed eating challenge ) is that first I wanted to give her props for this incredible demonstration of flexibility but also because I didn´t get to mention her this year on her 50th birthday on the 24th of July as I did not have a good video for her.
She got some backlash from the usual gang of idiots on the internet saying that as a woman of a certain age ( which is what exactly ? ) she is way too old for these kind of stunts ( and she did get injured while shooting the pole dance scene ) but I say that´s nonsense. Jlo still looks better at 50 than most actresses in Hollywood half her age and as long as she can do it and is doing it because she wants to and not because somebody wants her to I say go for it. And that´s not only the usual pervert in me talking.
I am beyond 50 now and I wish I could move even half as good as Jennifer.
As hard as it is ( no pun intended ) we have to tear our eyes away from Jennifer Lopez´ hypnotic gams and return to the world of comicbooks.
With original art from so many different series there is a number of videos about comicbooks I could have included but I think this post leans a bit to the Marvel side so here is one that also includes a lot of different series.
To start off the new year I have decided to include another feature about one of my favorite cartoon shows. It´s still unavailable in Germany on DVD or BlueRay so I hope to have more time when I am in Spain the next time.
We are definitely going into more creepy territory at the end of this post although I probably should not mention Creepy when I am making a segueway to the Tales From The Crypt tv show based on the classic EC Comics. Not only on the Tales From The Crypt series but - as I already mentioned above - sometimes they also used stories from EC´s two companion horror series The Vault Of Horror and The Haunt Of Fear.
We are way past Halloween but as regular followers know I include horror flicks all year around so don´t let yourself be deterred from enjoying The Midnight Hour by the fact that it takes place on Halloween. It´s a really entertaining movie with a cast of exceptionally high grade no matter when you are watching it although it IS more fun when you watch it on All Hallow´s Eve. I don´t remember if I have seen it before but it´s one of those movies where most of the actors have gone on to bigger things.
