This post is a bit unusual because in general I write the comicbook related part first and then add the bonus section. But if there is one constant in this blog it´s change. Anyway, we come to Mark Valley who celebrated his 56th birthday Yesterday and who was on two of my favorite tv series. And since there is nothing I could say about FRINGE that I haven´t already mentioned in previous posts Today´s topic is Fox´s THE HUMAN TARGET.
Blog regulars know that I don´t like to repeat myself and since I also want to accommodate any potential new visitors I dug into the old posts to see what I already covered. The first time I mentioned the second HUMAN TARGET tv series was way back at the end of 2010 and I only wrote that the show didn´t turn out as bad as I had feared. Next I had re - watched the first season and made a resume what was good about it and where they dropped the ball in the second season. For those who don´t want to go back and read the whole thing while they did bring in some hot babes to the main cast the stories became less daring. For those who WANT to read the old post it´s my MEANWHILE IN A LITTLE VILLAGE IN SPAIN post that made it into the Top Ten Posts and I don´t know if the fact that I wrote about the HUMAN TARGET tv show had something to do with that.

80s Power Girl Markie Post is probably the best known cult siren on the blog because not only have I done many re - posts of her original post .
I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .
And that ladies and gentlemen is probably the shortest part with Markie Post ever. But as I said in the intro, I have already written most of the bonus section which has a lot of GIFs plus there will be a few more cult sirens in connection to THE HUMAN TARGET. Apropos, attentive readers may have noticed that I have called THE HUMAN TARGET tv series " the second tv series " and the reason for that is there already was a HUMAN TARGET tv show in the 90s which starred Rick Springfield as Christopher Chance. I included the first unaired pilot of the show in my spotlight post on the HUMAN TARGET co - creator Len Wein and you can find the first episode that DID air in my latest X - MEN MONTH post about Greg Capullo .
So. Before we come to the comicbook related part of the post I should probably say a few words about the HUMAN TARGET tv series with Mark Valley for those readers who DON´T want to check out my old posts. The first season is the best and I can totally understand that they changed his origin story. Although technically speaking they didn´t. But let´s not get ahead of ourselves. While comicbooks may have quite fascinating and compelling characters their origin stories are not always that original or even logical - especially when Silver Age characters are concerned - so I have no problem that they changed the origin for the new tv adaption.
Plus for those comicbook fans that are hung up on DC continuity they leave an out since the guy Mark Valley plays is not the real Christopher Chance. He took his name and identity from his precedessor played by Lee Majors and it is hinted that he may not have been the first Christopher Chance. So for those who still want their Christopher Chance from the comics he is canon in this universe. As for the tv show itself I don´t want to say too much about it because I don´t want to spoil it for those who still have not seen it but the fact that it´s one of my favorite tv shows should speak for itself. I want however take a moment to talk about the great cast which besides Mark Valley has Jackie Earle Haley - best known as Rohrschach in Zack Snyder´s adaption of Alan Moore´s WATCHMEN and Chi McBride - who is currently on HAWAII FIVE - O as the main trifecta.
Speaking of HAWAII FIVE - O, besides Chi McBride THE HUMAN TARGET also has korean 34B - 26 - 35 knockout Grace Park guest starring in an episode who was one of the main reason for male viewers to check out that show.
Before she was on HAWAII FIVE - O Grace Park played the toaster every guy would love to use for breakfast in bed and another cylon model with a porn star body was played by 34C - 24 - 34 hardboy Tricia Helfer who is Christopher Chance´s client in the pilot episode. The blow up sex doll of german, swedish and norwegian descent appeared on LUCIFER, another favorite tv series which is also an adaption of a DC Comics character.
One of the things that always bugged me on BATTLESTAR GALACTICA was the idea that humans created the cylons. Although it would explain why two of the models were such hot sexbombs like Tricia Helfer and Grace Park. On the other side the cylons would never had to go to war against the humans because if you have an unlimited amount of copies of Tricia Helfer and Grace Park there is no male human who can resist you. I guess those toasters were still lacking in basic knowledge about horny humans.
Because there was an episode of THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN where they tried to gain control of the world´s governments by sending in a squad of women who all looked like hot swimsuit models and when you have seen this episode and know that the toasters on GALACTICA have hot models like Tricia Helfer and Grace Park it makes the war against humanity and death to humans and violence thing seem unnecessary and over the top.
Other noteworthy guest stars on THE HUMAN TARGET include Timothy Omundson, Amy Acker, James Remar, Lauren German ( also on LUCIFER ), Mitch Pileggi, Danny Glover and last but not least Armand Assante who also was in STRIPTEASE with natural born for porn 36C - 26 - 36 stripper super star Demi Moore who is the number one of my Top Ten Movie Stripteases list thanks to her spectacular performance in that movie.
And with that I want to wrap up the movie rummage table part of the post and come to what we all have been waiting for : the comicbook art.
Since I posted some pages by Cliff Chiang from the HUMAN TARGET series from DC Comics Vertigo series the last time I mentioned The Human Target Today we are going old school with the original Human Target stories by Len Wein , Carmine Infantino and Dick Giordano starting with Christopher Chance´s first appearance as a back up story in ACTION COMICS issue 419.
THE HUMAN TARGET continued as a back up feature although it changed titles from Action Comics to Detective Comics. And before the Vertigo series there was a Human Target Special that tied in to the 90s tv show.
One thing I haven´t mentioned is Christopher Chance´s appearance on the Arrow tv show since it hasn´t happened yet in the following video that gives a good overview about the Human Target both in comicbooks and tv shows. I thought his inclusion in Arrow was a stroke of genius and one of the many reasons why so many people loved the show. It´s true a big part of including so many second and third stringer characters from the fringes of the DC universe was pure fan service. But whenever they did that there also was a purpose for having those characters in the episode.

I became aware of him through one of my comrades at the Deutsche Bundeswehr when I was doing my military service in Munich. After England and Germany our next stop is with the queen of italian sex comedies 36C - 23 - 34 blow up sex doll Edwige Fenech who turned 72.

Her best films ? Where to begin ? She made many classic Italian Giallo thrillers, as well as many sexy comedies. Edwige did more movies with nudity than without ! I may have posted it before but the time is ripe for a re - post of this great series which starred martial arts legend Sho Kosugi as Lee Van Cleef´s adversary and Tara Buckman as Cat who is best known for playing one of the cleavage prone Lamborghini babes with 36D - 25 - 36 cult siren Adrienne Barbeau in Cannonball Run.
Since I will be pretty busy finishing up with these last three posts - provided I don´t have to make a spin - off post at some point - I don´t think that I can write a post around New Year´s Eve I am putting a few of the videos that would have gone into said post here. Since we are still at the 25th of December I - obviously - can´t post her video of her dress for 2021. There are a lot of them ranging from black and white ones to more recent shows from the 2000s but I went with the Grand End Of The Year Special from 1975 because I am more familiar with the artists who appear on that show especially Peret.
We continue the spanish entertainment with Viaje Al Centro De La Tele, a tv program narrated by Santiago Segura ( who is best known for his Torrente movies ) that takes a nostalgic look at the history of spanish tv.
Since I missed a lot of that it´s a show I really enjoy and in previous post I bemoaned that I wished they would include more spanish sexbombs. Well, this one is all about the babes on the show Un, Dos, Tres ( you can find a full episode in this post ) starting with musical guests like italian 38D - 24 - 36 pop music superstar Sabrina " Bouncing Action " Salerno to the other hot girls on the show including french blow up sex doll Marlene Mourreau .

This is a story that has been adapted a dozen times through the decades and probably will be adapted a few more times in coming years but this is the version I am most familiar with. I know that a lot of people associate Richard Chamberlain with other roles but for me he will always be the lead of such classic french stories like The Three Musketeers, The Count Of Monte Christo and The Man In The Iron Mask. Okay, and Shogun.
Since comicbooks are underrepresented in this section here is another great videos from Comic Tropes about how comicbooks were used as propaganda tools during the Second World War. Pretty much the same thing is happening now only that the persons doing it are the SJWs.
Since I mentioned her in the post - and I didn´t get to make a post on her birthday - we have a Battle Of The Boobs or rather Meeting Of The MILFs as Elvira, The Mistress Of The Dark gives Jackie Jennings a backstage tour.

We close out the post - and the year - with the Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes cartoon which I didn´t even know existed. I found it while looking for cartoons for the Halloween posts and as far as I could see it´s based on the sequel. I don´t know if the original cult classic was ever on Elvira´s tv show but I bet those creature features are right up her alley.
