But anybody who has followed this blog over an extended period of time knows that things never turn out as planned and while doing the research ( what research you say since I already did that for the first part but you ALWAYS have to double and triple check ) I came across more original art and colour recreations.

Now usually I have certain size standards concerning the original art pieces because if they are any smaller you can't really see much. But since I found a few pieces where not posting them would be a crime - including an unused cover for MARVEL SPOTLIGHT 4 - I am bending my rules a bit here and hope my faithful followers cut me some slack.

One last thing, a lot of the art in this post is done by Mike Ploog but not all. Nevertheless I might refer to this post in connection to Mike Ploog until I have the time to do a proper spotlight post for him.
