What should I be doing ? Finishing up my latest post about THE LEGION OF SUPER - HEROES . What am I doing instead ? Starting yet another post.

And why ? I´m glad you asked. I was just working on my post about THE PLANET OF THE APES and after adding another video about the Lord of the Jungle I thought : why not put all that stuff in a Tarzan spotlight post ?

So I looked through my Tarzan folder and after an extensive search on the internet I had all the necessary material for the post. Now mind you, this is not my first Tarzan spotlight, I already did one for Russ Manning - who will always be my number 1 Tarzan artist - back in January 2021 . In this post we have material from Marvel Comics´ long lived TARZAN comicbook series and I´m not sure if any of this material has ever been reprinted.

Before we come to my usual mixed bag of entertainment excellence those who feel so inclined can find 13 covers for Marvel Comics´ Tarzan series by John Buscema over at 13TH DIMENSION and fellow link partner CRIVENS ! COMICS & STUFF ! has a post on the first issue of Korak, Son of Tarzan.

Now while I did say that we would come to my usual mix in Today´s post addendum I have tried to add as many Tarzan related videos as possible and to put us in the right mood we are starting things off with german bard Willem and Tarzan ist wieder da ! It was either that or Wer hat die Kokonuß geklaut ? and the first one even has Tarzan in the title so this was a no brainer. Man, I didn´t know Willem was around that long. I first got his name from his spoof of Captain Sensible´s smash hit Wot ! called Wat ? in 1984 and I had no idea he was already doing his thing in the 70s.

The 90s are a treasure trove of tv gold so we continue with Tarzan - The Epic Adventures or how it was called in Germany Tarzan - The Return and I have to confess I didn´t watch many episodes. One of the cast members I do recognize is bra - busting Cory Everson who plays Mara in this episode.

Buffed blonde built 36C - 27 - 37 body Corinna Kneuer a.k.a. Cory Everson is the sister of sexbomb Cameo Kneuer. The second familiar name from the cast is skin flick veteran Meilani Paul who plays the snake cult leader´s daughter in Tarzan And The Return Of Kukulcan ( which sounds a lot like Tarzan And The Return Of The Ku Klux Clan ) the eleventh episode of the first season. Among her many midnight special movies her most memorable is The Corporate Ladder which also co - stars all natural 34C - 23 - 33 Playmate Of The Month February in 1995 Lisa Marie Scott, 40B - 25 - 36 Bond girl Talisa Soto and last but not least natural born 34C - 25 - 36 stripper starlet Kathleen Kinmont who has some of her breast nude scenes in this movie. Because there is always the one sticker you can´t get and the one you can´t get rid off because everybody already has five or six of them. Do kids in school Today still do that ? Swapping stickers ? Because I still see a lot of these sticker series around especially from PANINI. Man, even back then those italian Gollums knew how to get my money and when I stopped buying stickers they got into comics so they could empty my wallet faster, harder, better, stronger.

Now I have to confess that I only knew George Of The Jungle ( which in Germany has the awful title George Who Came From The Jungle ) from the hilariously funny Brendan Fraser movie. But I did see some tv ads for the cartoon later on when it aired on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network down in Germany. So I knew the film was based on a cartoon show. What I didn´t know was that the cartoon show they promoted was a reboot and that there had been a previous George Of The Jungle cartoon show in 1967.

A more serious - but still blatantly obvious Tarzan rip - off while it also throws in a bit of Conan, The Barbarian for good measure - is Beastmaster and I wrote more about Marc Singer and the Beastmaster movies in my spotlight post on The Power Of Shazam artist Peter Krause. I thought I had also posted an episode from the tv show but if I did I can´t find it.

Anyway, while this movie doesn´t have 36C - 24 - 33 science fucktion cult siren Kari Wuhrer - she is in the sequel - it has some a - grade Hollywood dicktamers with all natural 36C - 21 - 34 Bond girl and Charlie´s Angel Tanya Roberts who appeared on the cover and in a nude PLAYBOY pictorial to promote the movie ( That´s what I call team spirit ! And that wraps up our trip to the dark continent for this post. But wait, there is still more. Because as incredible as it may sound we still haven´t checked all the usual bases so we continue with three videos I couldn´t fit in my other western themed post. To start things off here is a review of the first two volumes of the Lucky Luke collection and I have to say that I like Morris´ later stuff more than his early work. I don´t know if that is because of nostalgia since those are the stories I knew from Zack ! or because the later stories line up better with my artistic preferences.

Those who have followed this blog since its earliest days may remember my review of the Lucky Luke movie with Jean Dujardin from 2009 ( and a No - Prize goes to the person who knows in which post it was because I can´t find it for the life of me ) which was actually the third attempt to adapt the famous bande dessinee to the big screen. Before that we had Lucky Luke and the Daltons from 2004 starring german actor Til Schweiger as Lucky Luke. Funny enough Jean Dujardin also appeared in this film.

You know, sometimes I don´t know where my head is although I blame it on sleep deprivation because I haven´t slept since moving to Spain. In any case, I was going through all the options for an animated Lucky Luke video - from full animated feature films to episodes from various cartoon shows - when inspiration hit me because this should be a no - brainer. As longtime readers know my favorite Lucky Luke comic is The Stage Coach since it is basically a road movie and they adapted the story into a cartoon episode.

So far we have very few videos about comicbooks so we continue the theme of guys and guns with an interview from Comic Tropes Chris Piers with legendary creator Larry Hama who worked on such Marvel Comics titles like Elektra, Nth Man : The Ultimate Ninja or one of the best runs on Wolverine with Uncanny X - Men and Cyberforce artist Marc Silvestri.

Larry Hama is of course best known for his worldbuilding in the comicbook adaption of the 1980s cult cartoon show G. I. Joe : A Real American Hero.

Speaking of 80s cult tv shows, one of the biggest is of course The A - Team - or Los Magnificos how it was called in the spanish speaking part of the world - which is the subject of Today´s eclectic episode of Ayer Nomas.

There has been a plethora of guest stars on The A - Team but it is probably not much of a surprise to anybody who has been reading the blog for more than ten posts that I picked a video from one of the episodes with 80s real life Power Girl Markie Post. She appeared in two episodes and true to my usual luck I caught the one where Markie Post is dressed like a nun.

And I don´t mean that figuratively but literal : after a night full of passion with Faceman Markie Post´s character decides to become a nun and join a convent. Makes you wonder if Faceman had any performance issues. Not that it would have been a problem in real life because Sexbombe Markie Post was just oozing so much sex appeal that she was like natural viagra.

I still haven´t truly processed Markie Post´s passing - and I promise to do a proper post when I have the time - so I will make the obligatory Markie Post part as short as possible. I also keep mentioning her in other posts and her original post is in the Top Ten Posts widget that appears on every post. Since I have done so many different versions it is not so tragic that I did not do a re - post last year even though I did the last version of her cult siren entry in 2016 .

Sadly there are no full episodes of The A - Team on YouTube but I came across something even better. Something I wasn´t even looking for as I had given up finding it long ago. From the Timecop tv show we come to Time Masters which is one of my guilty pleasures. YouTube keeps deleting this animated movie but once in a blue moon some charitable soul out there uploads it again and I put it on the blog again. For all of my new readers, the reason why I keep posting this french film by Rene Laloux is that the animation design was done by none other than the late french genius Jean Giraud a.k.a.
