You're THE FIRST, the last, the everything !

Continuing CROSSGEN COMICS WEEK overtime we come to a series that those of you who are regulars or longtime followers are surprised I did not feature before since it was drawn by one of my all time favourite artists - Bart Sears - which also features a lot of hot babes : THE FIRST.

Especially keeping in mind they must be already sick of me mentioning him again and again just to have an excuse to talk about his greatest contributions not only to DC Comics or comicbooks but pop culture in general : the best Power Girl there was, there is and there ever will be.

Coming back to CrossGen Comics THE FIRST, like I said unlike Valiant Comics TUROK, DINOSAUR HUNTERS where he mostly got to draw buffed dudes and dinosaur - which is not why you buy a Bart Sears comic - here he got to draw a lot of very busty women most of which had very little clothing. So why did I not immediately jump on this chance ? First of, this was a series that my brother had on his pull list and as I may have mentioned one or two times before one thing that has always been this way and which will probably never change - until you are lucky enough to win the lottery - is that as a comicbook reader there is never enogh money to buy all of the comicbooks you would like to read. Thankfully there are things like the FREE COMIC BOOK DAY in America and the GRATIS COMIC TAG in Germany ( I don't know if the concept of giving comics away for free will ever catch on in Spain ) and you can always find a lot of comicbooks at your local library. There are also occasions like birthdays or Christmas where you can get comicbooks as presents from friends and relatives even if what you get may be somewhat misguided. And of course there used to be ways to get comicbooks cheaper like amazon ( which used to have more discounts for comicbooks before the pandemic where they suddenly realized that all of these books are very valuable when you have to spend more time at home ) or at comic shops - on the internet or out there in the real world - where you can get some comics very cheap as I have mentioned in a few posts. But no matter what you do you always have to stretch that comicbook spending dollars and so me and my brothers had a silent pact that we would split up which comicbooks we wanted to read and each one would put those he wanted also to keep on his pull list. And in general we kept to this practice.

first things first
